I bought these for building models and they are perfect for weighing down parts while the glue dries. Tough exteriors, but soft and flexible to fit on uneven surfaces.

I got these for my daughter who sews and she loves them. They keep the fabric where she wants it without sliding all over the. place.

I will totally buy another 2 or 3 sets of these little guys. They held my patterns like champs! I only had 8 and never had to lift them or watch for them sliding anywhere!

These seem to work pretty well but were a bit lighter than I expected. It didn't take much of a jostle for them to slide out of position.

I cut a lot of fabric every day and having it slide around the mat was really annoying. Especially with lightweight tissue. The one thing to be careful of is not to position them in situated they tear the fabric or make it hard to angle your cutter. But that’s a very minor thing and covered by common sense.

These are just right for holding paper and cloth flat for measuring and cutting.

I should have read the description more closely. These are very small and not very heavy. Might work for some things, so I'll keep them. I thought from the picture they were about 4 inches square. They are about 1.25 inches square.
