In 1984 a bouncing little bundle of fuzz was delivered to VanderBear Manor - much to the delight of the whole Vanderbear family and bear collectors everywhere. To celebrate Muffy's 20th anniversary North American Bear Company in conjunction with miniature artist Jamie Woo of Little Gems Teddy Bears has created a series of six mohair miniature recreations of Muffy's most beloved designs. Each is a numbered limited edition of 2 500 pieces. The 3" miniature mohair Muffys and their costumes are crafted by hand to capture their original detail and charm complete with display stand and protective case. In a lilac painter's smock and a floral dress with artist's palette Muffy shows her artistic talent in the Spring 1990 VanderBear Family "An Impressionist Collection". Age: 3+ yrs Size: 3" Care: Bears are surface washable. Outfits are spot clean. The North American Bear staff is a small but wonderfully diverse group of people who know and care about the products and make sure everything is "just right" before anything ships out the door. Ten different languages are spoken at North American Bear and like the customers who ultimately purchase these products The North American Bear staff is predominately women (the majority of whom are moms) with a delightful sprinkling of dads. There are 43 children total amongst the company and every one of these kids is as much a part of the North American Bear family as their parents.
