This light isn't super bright, but it's bright enough to let you see where you're going, and more importantly, to let others on the road see where you're at.When I bought this I had an Eahora X5 with a headlight that went out. I purchased this light and was able to switch it out with the original light in three minutes. The plug that comes with this light plugs right into the existing plug on the bike, making it incredibly easy to switch out. Highly recommended unless you need a super powerful headlight, in which case you might look for something different

After 3 months the light started to flicker likely due to loose wires internally. The light is nearly impossible to take apart to fix, so it has to be tossed in the garbage. It's too bad because when it worked it was pretty good. Now in winter when I need it, it's done.Not the brightest light out there, but the reflector and lens combination produce a good dispersal pattern with no hot spots, and it doesn't tail off near the edges. For aggressive night righting you will likely need a second light, but I mounted this on my front fork and it's survived hundreds of miles of off-roading through Phoenix trails without a flicker. Good buy, and works well with a variety of battery voltages.

Easy Install. The Item Is Compatible With The Excel Power Bikes As A Replacement Light However The Light Isn’t As Bright As The Picture/ Description Made It Out To Be. Definitely Would Keep As A Temporary Back Up, Not As A Replacement Light Though.

This light is replacing a Elite light on my Lectric XP3. I wanted an inexpensive light for my bike after the my Lectric Elite Light broke. I needed to be sure that the current draw would not exceed the current draw from the factory light. I measured that at 94ma. This light draws about 29ma. I like the light output. It is not as bright as the Elite, but I had my wife watch me riding towards her. She said she could see me no problem. The only problem I have with it is that is the connector looks like the two prong red, but it was a little bit bigger so it was a tight fit. This is worth the money.
