Felt less inflamed in one day
I ordered this olive oil after watching a video on it's plant polyphenol content. The taste--I personally like it a lot. It reminds me of some of the olive oil I used to taste when I lived in South America and Spain. It is a stronger-tasting oil-- a bit like tannins can be an acquired taste for those who prefer sweet wines, yet they contain health benefits. It does have more of a taste of actual olives, and I love olives.Anyway, I drank a shot of it and added a bit more to my salad for dinner. This morning, all of my joints fell less inflamed, especially my left hip, which I was icing. I feel less inflamed in one day. Could this be a coincidence? I'm a fan.

This tastes HORRIBLE
I grew up in a Greek household. I have always had real EVO in my diet every day since I was born. I have tried so many varieties, and this EVO is the most disgusting thing I have every had. It does NOT taste like EVO should. Not even close. It is flat out GROSS.Do you know when you go to a dairy farm or drive by one, and there is that thick scent of manure, urine and half digested hay and field grass in the air? And you know how that intense smell is so powerful that you can actually taste it a little? When I tasted this EVO it tasted like that but on 4K TV in my mouth. Its so gross. It made me gag and the after taste lingered in my stomach for hours. It made me burp and it tasted and smelled like it, making me relive the awful taste over and over. And as another reviewer wrote, it definitely has a chemical scent and taste. And when you factor in cost, yes its super expensive and the bottle was much smaller than I would have expected for the price.Don't waist you money on this. Purchase another high polyphenol EVO. I have tried many of the others on Amazon, and they were all fine. They tasted like EVO should, unlike this stuff.Don't buy this stuff, much better tasting high polyphenol EVO out there.

Why a 4 star review? Price
I purchased an 8.5 oz bottle of Gundry olive oil and a 17 oz bottle of Atlas Olive Oil in order to compare the two. Gundry delivered in 2 days as promised. Atlas has yet to provide the product to Amazon for shipping. I used 1 tablespoon of Gundry oil per day as suggested by his video. It cured my chronic constipation in one day. I use the oil on my daily salad, the taste was generally pleasant, the texture was . . .oily. Overall I'm pleased with Gundry's oil and ordered another bottle. $47 is a very steep price for 8.5 oz. The Atlas oil was $20 for 17 oz, that means Gundry was $94 for the same amount. I queried Amazon and Atlas looking for my oil order, they pointed fingers at each other. I looked at the Atlas website and found they would sell a 25 oz bottle of the same stuff for $22 + $11 shipping, so $33 with a 3 day delivery estimate. I will compare the two and see how they stack up. Atlas looks pretty good for price providing 25 oz for $33 compared to Gundry's $130+ for the same amount. Even so, I'm liking the Gundry oil so far. Gundry does not provide much data about his oil, just advertising stories and anecdotes while Atlas and other companies provide a fair amount of data about types of olives, regions where grown, etc. Gundry's pitch is simple, "trust me, I'm a doctor, by my product because I say so." We'll see.

Taste great!
I wasn’t sure about Dr. Gundry’s claims about olive oil but after trying it I have to say his product is top tier. I put it in sugar free iced cream everyday for joint flexibility.

Taste is an issue
I've tried this oil for cooking and on salads, and I can barely gag it down. It may be good for my health, but not if I cannot bring myself to eat it. The taste is just too strong for me.
