CrosshatchMens Althorpe’ Quilted Padded Hood Jacket Fleece Lined Winter Coat.

First thing is like to say is that like a few reviewers have already mentioned in here this coat is a bargain for the price you pay. It's snug, comfy, warm, looks good, and something I always find a big Bear with other coats cut not with this one is that the hood fits like a charm. It covers my head without restricting my view and doesn't expose my face to the wind or rain. The hood is also firmly held to my head so as to ensure the wind won't take it off everything it blows which is highly annoying as anyone who's ever written a good week testify too.Overall a good quality cost for the price. The only downside I found was that it is a bit tight when bending your elbows, and whilst that may not be an issue for someone with little muscles on the arms, it is slightly uncomfortable for me, but not enough for me to notice all the time. I'll see how it goes.Having said all this shot this coat the final test it needs to overcome hasn't arrived yet and that is the test of winter. Now whilst this coat is very snug it is to snug to allow for wearing a jumper underneath, so I'm hoping it is going to be as warm as I expect it to be as it will need to keep out the cold whilst I'm only wearing a t-shirt.I will update this review during the peak of winter to say how it's fared, and I'm hoping to day something positive.Update on 7/12- One of the things I mentioned above in my original review of this coat was a final test too see whether it can keep me warm in the cold. Well last week out has that opportunity with temperatures of minus 2 degrees Celsius, and my did it post with flying colours. This coat was so warm I only wore a t-shirt underneath and was comfy and cosy warm without any issues of the wind or cold seeping through the material. So definite bargain for the price. Keep it up Crosshatch. If I could give this coat 6 stars it would deserve it.

Lovely warm coat , well made , top quality. Highly recommended. Plenty of pockets all with zips which is a bonus too me. .

Husband wore this as soon as it arrived. He loves the warmth and feel of it. The size is just right allowing a thick hoodie to be worn underneath. Only had this a short time but so far so good

every year I dread the winter as I stay indoors as much as possible I have no fat on my body I never have so I feel the cold more than most, so this year I was determined to get some winter stuff that worked.I bought this jacket and its been a revelation it keeps me toasty and warm and I am even going out to hyde park now to feed the little critters and on the days where it's not so windy and cold, I have to open the jacket as its so warm.the stitching is very good and the jacket is so light I barely notice it.as for waterproofing a mild shower no problem, don't know how it would handle a downpour but that's what an umbrella is for.extremely good value for the money I am very happy with it and I highly recommend.

Great jacket, really warm and cosy when on. Extra puffy and fits Great. I ordered size M and fits perfect on arms and waist. Only negative thing I would say is in the picture it looks jet black but due to the type of material it's made from its not as black as in the 1st picture. Almost looks like a really dark navy blue in certain light. But for the price and quality its 100% worth the purchase.

To anyone reading this review before buying, I would say just go for it. The jacket looks good, fits well and keeps warm.
