One of my favorite books and I have recently ordered several more clues to give to friends. My favorite this is you can start anywhere in the book and you can apply it to what you are experiencing. Morgan is an amazing author!!!

It sits on my nightstand. Some days when I can't get out of bed, its my companion. I'm sobbing my way and making notes all over it. This book is a gift to my deepest wound. It's like a balm.If you or someone you love is working their way through grief and you need something that will help you wrestle with God, give words to the unspeakable, and never, not once slap you sideways with toxic positivity... this is it.Morgan isn't going to insult your pain, faith, or intellect with a lil Bible verse sprinkling. She's lived this, breathed this, and carefully curated verses that minister deeply.My favorite aspect is that each devotional is short and honors what space you might find yourself that day with 2 prompts: One if you want, one if you just can't. I love the freedom of that.I ordered a handful more and its my new go-to gift for someone who is also grieving.Thank you Morgan for what this must have personally cost you to write and live out.

I have always been attracted to authenticity. This Woman of God has had to endure pain that most could never fathom and while acknowledging her pain and being transparent she allowed God to use her to show how to make it through the darkness. This book found me exactly when I needed personally and professionally and I am grateful!

This book has been very helpful with gaining a positive look on life and gaining your love and trust back with God. I love how this book was written, you can dig deeper into the Bible verses on your own or the words and scriptures chosen for each page are very deep enough to make you think and feel a little bit better. I will cherish this book and use it forever. I highly recommend especially if you are not a big reader (like me) or cringe at very lengthy books (also me). It’ll get you right 🥰!!

I had to true gift of receiving an advanced reader copy of "Even In Darkness". In my own journey with grief I have found myself searching for authenticity in a grief "guide". The struggle to feel both at peace and in pain with the loss of a part of you feels somehow unholy. In her book, Morgan provides such a wonderfully authentic guide for anyone searching for The Truth about what God thinks about grief and how He will hold you in your deepest moments. It is both Biblically sound and filled with the compassion that only a companion in grief could have. This will be my new guide to read and reread for myself, and a gift to anyone as they step along side me in their own grief journey. I can not recommend this book strongly enough.

Morgan gifted me with an advanced reader copy and I couldn’t wait to gift her thoughts and words to others who are struggling through their own darkness. I love how the devotional is set up = No Formula! By picking a random page in any order your soul will be nourished! Morgan’s words coupled with the referenced scripture bring comfort that we are not alone in this journey. She also gives us a glimpse of how we, a sinful people, can come before our creator with our rawness exposed, questions, and pain and not be put to shame. Her authenticity in sharing her heart with the Lord and proclaiming the word of God to us is a greater privilege than we deserve. Her presence with you through this devotion is in itself, evidence of Gods grace!!!
