I've had two electric scooters stolen despite being locked, so I thought I'd turn things up a notch by locking the brake. This lock is perfect for that because it's not nearly as easy as cutting through a regular chain or even U-lock, at least not without ruining the disc brake. What I didn't expect was for the alarm to be so effective! It's very loud and seems to let out an initial warning chirp if the scooter gets jostled. If it gets jostled again, it goes into full alarm mode.No, it won't stop determined thieves or organized bike/scooter theft rings, but I've gone some time now without another theft, and I would like to thank this lock for that. I imagine it must make casual thieves second guess whether they should waste their time considering the loud noise and not being able to make a quick getaway.By the way, in case you own a Gotrax GXL V2, that's the scooter I have and the lock does fit the disc brake. However, you might have to rotate the brake a bit by hand to find a hole for the lock to fit through. Not quite as easy as with a bike, but it's workable.

Great Lock! Only issue is alarm is very sensitive. The wind blowing my cover will set it off, but usually only the warning (3 beep) sound. Other then that, great product.

it works as it should. use it daily. and it's the same price as temu i checked for 2 days. lolfor 10 bucks it's a great product and works the same as the twenty buck ones, buy while it's on sale and use the money you save to buy something good wile ridding, like food or drinks what everthank you, amazon,

Económico y sirven a la perfección. Yo la guardo bajo una cochera y a veces los gatos del vecino pasan y suena lo que los aleja y me ayuda a que no estén en la motora. Además me da seguridad extra al dormir. Se ve de buen calidad y trajo batería extras. Llego a tiempo y en un buen empaque. No hacen falta instrucciones. Ah y trae bolsita que colgué de la motora y lo puedo llevar a todos lados.
