Took a chance, so glad I did!
Really cute dresser! I don't understand why it got so many terrible reviews. It made me nervous to buy but I took a chance and super glad I did. Looking back I believe most of theirs issues were user error. BUUUUT there are a few things that must know first... this dresser is NOT solid wood. It's pressed wood so that makes it much more delicate. Do not use power tools to assemble. It's unnecessary and you'll end up splitting the wood. Do not drag it or you could break a leg off. Not sure why people couldn't understand the directions or why it took so long for them to put together but if you can assemble ikea furniture then you can do this. All the parts are labeled and the pictures tell you which parts go where. It did take me a few hours but that was because I did by myself 8 months pregnant and while watching a 2yr old. I know this isn't a piece of furniture that will last forever but it's great for the price!

Great dresser ORDER WITH EXPERT ASSEMBLY TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM TEARS
I went absolutely insane trying to assemble this because the instructions are so so so difficult to read and interpret. After being stuck on the same step for about 2 days I finally hired someone to come help me and they could barely understand it as well. We finally got past it and the dresser itself is great! When you’re putting it together it is fragile and pieces can easily become damaged or cracked, but all together it is a great dresser for the price. I would recommend ordering it with assembly or just having someone come help you because there are so many pieces and the directions to it seem to be out of order and are incredibly difficult to read. Dresser looks great but I will be changing the knobs because they don’t have the best grip. (Easy fix)

Too many pieces and some missing: Overall looks good but cheap and flimsy
I haven't finished putting this together and will submit a second review once I'm done. The product arrived on time in good shape in 2 boxes and packaged well. The only and biggest issue is it has so many pieces and not the best markings. Instructions are written out well for those who get building and putting stuff together. if you're a novice like me who's just good at putting Ikea tables together, I would strongly recommend getting the handyhelp from Amazon, which I regret not having done. If you have the patience and time, for a beginner it may take about 3 hours.Later addition : I finished putting it together and Im pretty frustrated!1:Poorly labeled parts2:flimsy leg 1 of them3:if you wipe the surface hard the mica will come off4:2screws missing5:instructions are bad for a novice6:you need patience and skill7:will not survive a moveOnly positive is it looks good

You Need an Imagination to Complete the Instructions
Well, I will start with the instructions. They were missing steps. The pictures were inverted at times causing me to doubt everything. When I finally got it all put together, the legs didn't tighten enough, they buckled, and broke the corner so I had to glue that piece back on to cover up the hole (see picture). I would be 5x more mad if I had paid more, but based on the time spent trying how to figure out how to put it together since the instructions were inadequate, I am still pretty steamed. Not sure how to fix this other than to just have it sit flush on the floor without the legs. I'll have to remove the legs from the matching 3-drawer piece so that the heights match. *sigh* *exasperatingly sweeps everything off of the table and walks off*

It's a Monet
We took s chance purchasing this for our nursery without any reviews. I didn't like the matching dresser that went with the crib, and this matched in style and color, and is the right height to put a changing table on top.Shipping was fine; we had to schedule delivery when someone was home and it arrived on time. As soon as we opened the boxes, I new we were in for it. So many pieces! But, we got to work. Between the two of us, my husband and I have 4 advanced degrees, and we struggled with the instructions. They just weren't clear and often didn't match, so eventually we gave up and improvised. It took the two of us almost 6 hours to put it together. But the complex assembly is not the reason for the 2 star review. The quality is just not good. It looks nice from far away, but if you get close, it's simply poor quality. It's all particle board. The back of the dresser and drawer bottoms are cardboard inserts. The white on the front is not even laminate; it's literally cardboard. The color is dull and scratched during assembly. The drawers do not line up properly. For the price, I expected better quality. It's not a $1000 piece or anything, but I've paid less and gotten better from Amazon before. It's not with the pain of sending it back, but knowing what I know now I would not have purchased.Do not recommend.

Nice Flat-Pack Dresser... this isn't West Elm, people
Honestly, what do people expect from a <$300 dresser? This is not solid walnut, its composite board, just like any flat-pack furniture you buy from Ikea or walmart, etc... For what it is, it is a very nice dresser. Really nice appearance that looks more expensive than what it is. It has rolling tracks on the drawers so they open and close smoothly, and nice finishing touches. That said, the directions aren't great (not the worst I've ever seen either) and there are a lot of screws to do- I broke out the drill to speed it up and I would recommend that to others (but you don't HAVE to have one...)

Great value for your money
Ok, maybe it’s not the sturdiest or easiest to put together piece, but it’s awesome. It’s beautiful! I have it in our nursery. Great value for the price. When you want to buy $200 piece, don’t expect to be same quality as $800 dresser. But with all that it looks great and it does it’s job.Cons: hard to put togetherThe drawers are rather smallDrawer handles are pretty pointy, not best for nursery as it’s a little dangerous. Once my son started crawling, I replaced them, but once he’ll get older, I’ll put the original ones in.Besides all the cons, it’s a great value piece and I couldn’t be more happier
