I would love to give these 5 stars, but unfortunately my somewhat blind purchase (I had seen the product listing, but didn't find much to compare the size of these earrings when I was browsing for them) of these very pretty earrings was met with a slight bit of disappointment by my wife. She likes these, thinks they are very pretty, but also thinks that for her they are just a bit too big. Others would very likely never really see that issue, but she is rather particular about the size of her adornments, and if she feels that an earring, necklace, or other piece of jewelry is too big, she'll tend not to want to use them.Her daughters, on the other hand, would gladly steal these from their mother and happily wear them. For them the size is not an issue at all.My wife noted that these weren't heavy, despite being a little larger than she would normally like to have as earrings. She liked the nice bag that they came in, and found the surprise (as these were part of a surprise gift) enjoyable. The manufacturer has done a great job with these, and if the same basic item, about 1/3 smaller were available, it would probably be an instant hit with my wife.
