I purchased this because a co-worker was returning to office after maternity leave. I knew that she'd need some privacy during the day. In our office, a closed door doesn't always mean 'do not disturb,' so I wanted to find a way to signal to others that at particular times her closed door means that she needs privacy and please do not knock or otherwise disturb. I also wanted something that looked nice and not institutional.This sign is lovely and does the job that it was purchased for. It's a very nice quality. I'm happy with my purchase, and most importantly, my co-worker appreciates having the sign. Because the sign is two sided, she can just flip it when she has her door closed but can be disturbed, or flip it to 'do not disturb' when she needs privacy.

My neighbor is sickly and often puts a scrawled “do not disturb “ note on her door. This was a perfect, inexpensive gift. Very pretty, reasonably sturdy (wouldn’t put it outside - it’s between her doors), and was pleased to see it turned to the “WELCOME “ side today.

Love this… it has two sides. I use it on my home office and put it on the “Do Not Disturb” while I am meeting with clients online but switch it to the “Please knock” when I am just trying to work quietly. My husband and kids know the difference and it’s attractive and doesn’t ruin the aesthetic of my decor!
