So far, so good. I took a chance on these given the mixed reviews. But I like seeing that there is a lifetime warranty and 30 day satisfaction guarantee. I haven't had any problems yet and hopeful I don't. These have been good, strong clippers so far. I have been just using them for a few months so far (since 11/2019) My need for them: I have a couple of thick nails that need the extra oomph of heavy duty toe nail clippers. I have had a couple pairs of seemingly heavy duty toe nail clippers and they would all break within a year- usually the spring gives out between handles that give it tension. I like the handle- it is easy to grip, easy to add additional strength and pressure without feeling like it will slip out from my hand, also I sense that I don't need to muscle the clippers in order to make a clip. These are easier to use due to their handle coating. The clipping part if sharp and effective. I can cut through a thick nail with ease. I would only use these on my thick nails and prefer to use the other style I mentioned for my normal nails. I never use the weak little traditional nail clippers. No matter what I get, it is always some sort of steel toe nail clipper. I'll finish this review by saying that they are sharp, they are comfortable and easy to handle, be mindful of where your nail is before you make the actual cut- I find I need to back off a bit as these actually open wide enough for me to slip my thick nails into.

Harperton's Nippit is a high quality tool that exceeded all my expectations in a toe nail clipper. I'm an old tool guy and fly tyer and I know a quality tool when I use it. The Nippit is both safe and easy to use. I held off buying it for quite some time because of the cost but after reading all the great reviews several times I decided to make the purchase after trimming the end of my toe with my old cheapy nail clippers, ouch. Now I actually look forward to trimming my toe nails because I really do enjoy using a high quality tool that does a great job. There is absolutely no comparison between the Nippit's style versus the regular old fashion nail clipper style. It is very easy to hold in your hand and easy to control. The way the tool is shaped it is also very easy to see exactly what you are trimming so it minimizes any mis-cuts. It is very sharp and takes very little pressure to make a cut. I really gave it a good look under a lighted magnifying glass and was very impressed with the workmanship of the tool. I'll never go back to the old style of nail trimmer. My old trimmer went into the trash can after using my new Nippit. Harperton's customer care is pretty amazing too. I haven't had any problems with the tool so I didn't need help there but they have a wonderful rewards/perc program that is offered in the manual that comes with the Nippit. I'll leave it at that, but I did have a couple of email exchanges with the company in regards to my satisfaction with their product and their goodie program and was super impressed with their customer care. They're a small family business and they offer the old fashion customer service that all of us old timers miss. If you're looking for a toe nail clipper or for any tool that Harperton makes then just buy it and you will be happy with your purchase. I am and am now looking at their other products because I know what kind of tool I'll get for my money. I'm a big Amazon Prime shopper but I've only left a handful of reviews even though I rely on them when I make my purchases. This was one of the few because their product and customer service were both super exceptional.

I have tried several toenail clippers which ended up being Chinese garbage. This nail clipper is GREAT. Sharp and precise. I recommend this as it is a real podiatrist tool for home ise.

These are well made trimmers that are very sharp and crafted with precision so everything lines up as it should. I can't say one bad or even mid thing about the trimmer part of this item, it's easily the best I've ever owned. One small con is that the spring design isn't the best for longevity and will likely fail at some point, though it took years in my case and by then I more than got my money's worth. Also the black grips may start slipping off at some point, at least one of them did on mine. I had mine for 7 years until the spring finally busted, I don't use them constantly though and I'm sure that will vary with use. You really can't go wrong with these trimmers and for $10 they're one of the best values I've found across all of Amazon. I just bought my second one and can hardly wait until they arrive, the two different brands I've tried since the spring on this one gave out have been awful in comparison. Highly recommend.

Fantastic cuticle nippers!! I have bought so many other brands that disappoint after using for a week that have gotten dull so quickly BUT NOT THESE! I bought 2 pairs and I’m a tad obsessed with how easy they cut and stay razor sharp. Great value and comfortable to use ! Highly recommend!

These really are the highest quality. They cut well and hold up over time. I’ve had them for years now and they still keep carrying on so well. I love to purchase these as gifts.
