PopCap Hits! Vol. 1 (Bejeweled 2 / Astro Pop)

I bought my elderly mother a PlayStation 2 for Christmas to play Bejeweled on. My mother had played the game previously on the computer, but she does not own a computer and so it was infrequent. She loved the PlayStation 2 because she could play Bejeweled whenever she wanted.Bejeweled is a fun game for anyone, but I bought it because it is especially great for people who aren't that savvy at video games. My mother cannot play most video games ( not well at least) but she plays Bejeweled for hours at a time. If you are looking for an entertaining game that most anyone can play this is it!

Got it for the wife. Shes loves the game and when we leave the house I have to take it to the van so she can play while we travel. Buying this one lets me leave one in the van and one in the house..no more wondering if I have it in the right place.

Bejeweled is one of the greatest games (non-action)for people in my age bracket. (50-60) It is not timed, unless you request it be. Very interesting and time consuming!!! Match the baubles and eliminate them to gain points.

VERY SATISFIED WITH THE GAME AS WELL AS THE PRICE. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH " AMAZOM " PRODUCTS, JUST PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS.

i am a big kid at heart. i enjoy games like this. i am definitely stuck on the bejeweled. i was not aware until about a year ago that this game was available but not for a pc game. love it!! and very much addicted to it.

I originally bought this because I loved playing Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook and i thought that i'd like Bejeweled 2. I did enjoy it but I turned out liking AstroPop better! Great Puzzle Games!

We've loved Bejeweled since we first discovered it online. We later purchased it for our Mac, and play it quite often. When we found it available for PS2, we thought it would be a great investment.We assumed that being a PS2 game that the graphics had been formatted for larger screen size. Not the case. The game looks terrible on a larger screen (pixelated and out of focus). Not sure what size screen the previous reviewer has who said 'better on the big screen', but it looks terrible on our 53".If this was a PS1 game, that would be understandable, but not for PS2.As far as game play, I suppose that once a player gets the hang of it, moving gems around would become second nature, but it's quite different (and a much slower procedure) than on the Mac, or the online game.We spent $20 on this and are sorely disappointed. The other game is okay, but not one I'd pay for. I had it as an app on my phone for a short time and found it boring. Others may (and obviously do) feel differently.If given the chance, I'd suggest renting or library loan before investing in purchase.
