It is age appopriate
We have not opened it yet because the toy is for his birthday party which isn't until this weekend but I can say that the shipping was fast and looking at the toy through the plastic window it is exactoly what I have been looking for! My son is extremely active and smart and it is hard to keep him stimulated and he loves taking things apart and putting them back together. So far everything I had purchased for him of this nature was too complicated or the parts so small it was a safety issue and he would have to have so much help he wasn't really doing it himself. But this product I can tell is just what we needed. It is made with materials easier for my 5 to handle and of a size that isn;t such a concern for me. We can't wait until he opens it and I am excited to see the look of accomplishment on his face when he is able to do it all on his own once we have shown him how. This product is affordable as well, S o it is definitely worth purchasing and trying for anyone with a son who wants to take apart everything! It even comes with the tools to do so that are safe for a small child to operate. Big thumbs up to this small business!

Clever Toy
We bought this for our son who recently turned 3. He has previously been given those large die cast cars and preceded to take them apart to the point where they became dangerously sharp. They then had to go in the trash. This racing car is Amazing! It is one of the best toys we have ever bought him. He loves taking it apart using the drill and putting it back together. He has a little difficulty with putting the engine and the seats on but I'm sure he will eventually work this out. The only negative is that if you want to turn the engine off to save the battery you have to totally dismantle the car just to do this.Great Toy! He absolutely loves it!

This was a last-minute Christmas purchase and I'm super glad we got it as our 4 year old absolutely loves it. He's car obsessed anyway but he's had a blast changing taking the screws out, changing the tires, putting the yellow pieces on and back off. The drill was easy for him to learn to use and the screws make a good, loud clicking noise when they're tight enough.I will say the only thing I don't like about it is the sound feature. First, it was hard (for us anyway) to figure out that you have to lift out the brown engine piece to find the on/off switch for the lights and sounds. But, really, that's a minor thing. The bigger issue is that the shake sensor on it is insanely sensitive and it went off every time I touched it to put it back together. Had to take it back apart immediately to turn it off (that's kind of annoying in and of itself). HOWEVER, my son could not care less that it doesn't make noise and since the "issue" is easily fixed by leaving it off, I still give it 5 stars for being a car that does a lot more than just drive!

One Happy Kid
My son, who's a bit younger than the intended audience, loves this thing. It's also made me hate the noises it makes. lolQuite sturdy and well made. He's been rough with it here and there and it holds together just fine. He loves the drill and runs around the living room with it trying to take apart everything. For the price? No complaints (other than sounds) and it's worth the money. If your kid likes to tinker then this is perfect for them to begin with.

Perfect for kids who like to take things apart
Bought this for our two year old son, who loves to take things apart and also loves tools. He loves it! He's still a little young to take the parts off and put them on by himself, but he loves it when we help him. On his own, he enjoys just playing with the car and he'll also carry the drill around the house and use it to "fix" other toys and even the furniture. Highly recommend if you have a kid who likes to figure out how things work and isn't always impressed with basic toys!

Lovely set, but one of the pieces is already stripped.
The concept is awesome. My son loves this toy. However, one of the top pieces is already shot so when you drill the screw in, it doesn’t actually stay in place.

They love building this car
The only negative/advice - There is no notes to tell you this and you get the whole car together and even at 3 they have looked at the box to know it should have sound and lites lol Be sure, before assembling, flip the brown engine over and pull out the white battery tab so that your sounds and lite workKids had a blast using the drill to build

Childs first car kit... perfect
Son loves this toy. He enjoys taking things apart and knows every brand and make of car there is. This is a perfect combo for his sensory and developmental needs. He did lose the bit to screw it all so now uses his hands. I do wish there was a way to purchase missing pieces seperately as you would with any tool kit.
