I bought this as a gift for my teen grandson. Once he opened it he didn't put it down and had already sketched and colored several very imaginative designs by the end of the evening. Although he can do something similar on his iPad, many artists still like the freedom of sketching on paper with pencil in hand.

Good quality paper. Perfect for sketching. The pre printed body outlines are a time saver for any wanna be designer

If you are a designer and need a template this book is the one to use to create your own fashion.

The description is misleading. It is described as though there are lots of templates but it is the same few images repeated. Good if you need to tear out the pages and draw on top of the figures but not good for variety.

Well I guess this is my fault for not reading the description carefully enough, but the "230 PROFESSIONAL FEMALE & MALE FIGURE TEMPLATES" touted in the heading definitely didn't tell me that it was going to be the same six female poses and same six male poses over and over in the book. They're also extremely static and not very different from each other at all. Basically, there is a front, a back, and then very slight variations of those two poses. The body types are all exactly the same, no height, size or body shape variation at all. Extremely disappointing.

Templates are drawn so nicely. They have a modern style and are easy to work with. There are lots of croquis out there, but honestly, these look so professional and elegant. I love the poses and the angles of the hands and feet are very well illustrated. There are 6 women's poses and 6 men's poses repeated in the book, so you have got more than 200 in total which is great for practicing.

Perfect for quick clothing sketches without worrying about perfecting the body shape. Only suggestion would be to add a couple of plus size layouts for variety

Good basic figures to use if you’re just about to go to college or are still at school. Not enough varied poses but a good, simple outline for people to be creative with. Shame it doesn’t come with tracing paper.
