A big YES to this Welding machine, easy to set up for nice welds and at a good price.
Bought this welder as a hobbyist who wants to include metalwork in my fabrication repertoire. So I did work in a mig welding factory many years ago so not a total stranger to the world of welding. I have to say things have come a long way since then particularly with gasless, and the unit worked pretty much straight out of the box due to the synergy settings. The unit has a quality feel about it and with the metal wire feed unit I think it represents good value. I have seen complaints about wire not being included, but for me this is just a consumable which would impact on the base price. I also do not miss the rubbish accesories found with other welders. A good mask and gloves are a must. cannot comment on longevity. I am happy to recomend this unit.

Excellent for the money
Only used the stick welding part of this product, but I'm very happy. I've used 10kg of3.2 welding rods and 5kg of 4mm rods, and very pleased with the results, and price. I have now used 2 rolls of flux core 1mm wire with this welder, And it's brilliant , All positions it's very easy to get a good weld. The yeswelder wire is excellent, I will be buying it again.

Excellent overall
Bought this a while back and not really used it but this weekend it’s been used extensively on an old Ford Ka with 10 bits of welding needed. It uses flux cored wire so it’s welds are never going to be as nice looking as a proper gas mig 3 phase that the garages USED to have when they did regular welding work - but when all is said and done this little gem of a machine really does the job.It can be used as a stick welder too but I haven’t used it for that yet. One thing I have noticed quite quickly is that the motor on it to feed the wire through is absolutely excellent. I’ve had not one birds nest even though I’m now on my 2nd roll of wire. So can’t complain about that. The other thing is that the amperage and wire speed controls are really excellent too. It can be adjusted very easily and quickly to suit metal thickness and does it very well too.I’ve whizzed through most of the welds and far quicker and more efficiently than I ever have with similar Clarke migs or SIP ones etc. Also it is tiny! It is so easy to lug around and the earth and feed leads are of very good quality too.One slight (and it is ever so slight) drawback is the method of joining the positive and negative to the machine. They slot in and need to be turned to get attached and this needs to be checked before using as they tend to pop out if not fully turned and slotted in correctly. Minor gripe and is no problem once you’re aware of it.Overall an excellent little machine and for a flux cored one you would be pushed to find a better one at this price. Definitely outperforms a Clarke gas/no gas one at 5 times the price.

A lot better than I expected!
This is very lightweight - so much so, it feels a bit like a toy (my last welder had 'real' transformer and weighed nearly as much as I do...) - but it does make it unbelievably portable. I do feel a bit worried that it might blow up any minute (given it's all based on switch-mode power supply electronics), but it's working now, and it welds very, very nicely (only tried gas mig so far) - and I can easily put it on the shelf, rather than wheeling it on a trolly. A bit hard to get the reels in (it's so small, the feeder is kind of hidden by the case) - and the model doesn't seem to exist on yeswelder site (maybe an EU only model?) - but does what I need (and more) and great for my use case of generally joining stuff and fixing cars. For the money, it's a bargain.

Excellent!
Super happy with this welder. After purchasing a similar different branded welder elsewhere and it being faulty straight out the box and having to return it. I was extremely impressed with this one, straight out the box all setup and it welds perfect! I was surprised as compared with a much older sealey mighty mig i also own, this one is half the size but lays down the welds like something much higher end, seriously for the money you will not find anything better, extremely impressed and highly recommended.

Excellent starter welder
Never welded gasless before but picked it up quite quickly.Have a play around with the settings on some scrap before you get going and you'll get some decent welds if not the prettiest.Used to weld seat brackets into VW caddy.

Be very careful
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this item , all seemed good loaded the mig wire up and turned it on ,,, soon as I turned it on the display started flashing like a Christmas tree then there was a 'pop' sound followed by a lot of clicking from inside it ,,, even pulling the plug out of it it still kept flashing for a good 10 seconds ,,, video shows second attempt at turn ing on ,,,, obviously there is something very wrong with the electronics on this which is quite scary given the nature and amperage involved in these

Great piece of kit for the price
Had an old mightymig that was given to me..thought it was ok, but the yeswelder just eats it up and spits it out.True that noone knows if the inverter tech is going to last like a transformer welder would but at this price i dont really care. It performs like a much higher spec welder.
