I'm a person who likes to record life with my phone and time-lapse photography. I used to think that iPhone camera is everything, however, doing so may make my battery drain fast, and I can't answer the phone or receive messages without aborting the application. Besides, using stuff beside to set up the phone is frequently unstable. It might fall or shift to another angle during the recording. I knew that I need another device to overcome these issues.The first time I got to know this product was when our teacher drew and demonstrated the artwork on the table during art class. Instead of crowding in front of the table, the work was projected on the screen by DC400 camera in time with high quality. After browsing similar products on the site, I decided to follow in teacher's footsteps and buy DC400.Though it's a bit pricey, DC400 is definitely worth buying. The metal texture, portable feature, and high flexibility are just impeccable. It completely solved the problems of mine mentioned above. I can record what I'm working with right now with a perfect angle (it's hard to set my phone stable at such a height and set it to the best angle). Moreover, the IdeaoCam Chrome Extension makes me easy to make stop motion animation, it's fun and easy to use.Regret not buying it earlier.

I was wanting to use the camera with Zoom to teach in the classroom, looking at books, documents, and drawings. Unfortunately, although I love the quality workmanship of the product, it just doesn't have the resolution I need. Documents were pixelated and hard to read, even when in focus.

After working the first time, it stopped and never again. I tried it on three different computers without success.

The camera arrived in very nice packaging. It was very useful for my online tutoring Zoom sessions. I liked that I could instantaneously show the students the annotations I was making and the diagrams I was drawing on the reading material with great video quality. When I wanted to talk to them directly, I just needed to adjust the angle of the camera and then students could see me. I noticed that the video quality was MUCH greater than that of a laptop camera. The lighting switch was also helpful in making the image clearer. I’d say that this webcam made my tutoring more convenient, and I feel like it can also help grab listeners’ attention (because not many teachers give lessons with this kind of cool equipment).BTW this camera is also amazingly portable, and the carry bag looks awesome!

I liked the design of this document camera however I was very disappointed to find out that the description says that it is compatible for Macs but there is no available software. Returned this item and exchanged it for https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08P5M2FX1?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title.

I had been using this cam for my TA class with my student for over three weeks. I like its thin and elegant design, easy to carry with the bag came with the product. The auto focus works perfectly when I write on the paper, and I can always use the AF button to manually focus. The Chrom app is compatible with google meet, it makes video sharing much easier if you are using Mac or other operating systems. For windows, their own software has the capability to split the screen, very useful if you want to share multi documents/images/cam at the same time. And most importantly, the image quality is crisp and sharp. Highly recommended!

I have used this monthly, if not weekly for the last year and slowly the hinges began to fail to hold the camera in it's designated position. Otherwise, it worked great! But now is useless unless propped.

I use this camera for online drawing classes I provide for disabled, injured and elderly Veterans at my local VA medical center via Zoom. It is very important for me to have a clear and sharp image as I do my demos because some of students are working from cellphones and tablets. Some have vision limitations as well.This camera also works with Zooms two camera options so I can demo in the main screen share window and have my computers camera have me in a second window. This is important so my students stay visually connected to me. I researched this product thoroughly and for ease of use and value was the best option for me.
