Low quality product that differs from images - do not buy
As I immediately returned these due to product failure, my criticism isn't based on how they actually perform in weather. My criticism is based on logic, my small experience with and the description of the product, how they are reviewed by other reviewers and the lack of information online about YSENTO.They have no Hydrostatic Head rating. Hydrostatic Head is the measure of how water resistant a material is and it is the metric by which reputable clothing and tent manufacturers judge how waterproof their product is. To be fair some products don't mention this on the amazon listing, but you can find it on the manufacturer's website or the label when the product has arrived, but as I mentioned, there is no information online about YSENTO which rules this out this method, and there was no label with this information, thus without a rating I would posit that the product description is false, they are not waterproof, they will be lightly water resistant at best, and will most probably absorb water if you stepped in a puddle for example. When the product arrived I immediately tried it on to make sure the fitting was correct and as another reviewer says "The clasp on the waist snapped off within 3.5 seconds", I don't think it even lasted that long. It's very expensive given the quality of the product, the reason I went for this in the first place is because I thought the metal loop looked cheap on other similar products, but I decided to take a risk because the image showed that it had a button, and not a metal loop.In conclusion:My opinion of the product is that it is overpriced, cheap quality, not as described, misrepresented by the images... And if I get a little conspiratorial: perhaps created by a non-reputable manufacturer that just wants to sell low quality products for as high as they can, perhaps with fake reviews and will more than likely shut up shop and create a new "brand name" as soon as people realise. As there are certainly lots of other similar products with stupid names such as "LHHMZ", "donhobo" and "PECTNK", and a dubious lack of online presence.I recommend doing a little research and concluding with a product that is renowned for its good quality. Such as the Berghaus Deluge which I got after I returned the YSENTO rubbish, they cost about 45% more (£12.38 more, £39.37 total) but based on how they didn't immediately break, they have already lasted a percentage longer that far exceeds 45%.

Fit is wide & baggy
It's always hard to tell fit from reviews and listings, but I'm 6'2", 34" inseam, about 190lb and have a 36" waist. I ordered XL and they are quite loose but just long enough. So really cut more for the stocky sort. But if I'd bought L, the legs would be too short. They are OK over some other trousers, but much too large in the wasit otherwise. The fabric is nice (I bought grey) with a soft "microfleece" inner side. Pockets are mesh, which is a bit breezy up front as they don't zip. Rear hip pocket (one only) is zippered. Very loose around the ankles (also breezy) which might be good for putting them on without removing shoes first, but would require some additional ankle straps for cycling.Top waist fastener is a hook arrangement, which means it comes undone unless under tension. A simple button would be much better. If anyone finds trousers like these that are actually form fitting and not hugely baggy, please let me know

Good quality waterproof trousers for my walking obsession
I walk a lot to get into better shape, inside and out. By which I mean I do at least six miles a day, fast paced, up and down the hills of West Yorkshire in all weathers. I got fed up with my jeans getting soaked, so invested in a pair of these instead. The fit was absolutely perfect, they look OK on (hey, you're not going to wearing them on a night out or to work are you) and do what they were bought for: keeping my legs warm and dry in the cold and wet while out walking.

Watch out for the button. Too cheaply sewn on.
Two issues about this product which absolutely do not make sense when you consider:1 - Why can it not be sold in waist/length variations? XL doesn't mean the same for everyone so I ended up with quite baggy trousers with the length still slightly too short.2 - The button.... I can say with confidence that if you buy this expect to re-sew or perhaps even change the button for something much better. In fact this is what makes the trousers feel so cheap. This and that string of a belt that comes with it.I replaced the belt and trousers came undone a lot because they were super baggy already but even so I had to be extra gentle with the latch button.Otherwise a "potentially" good product it could have been.

Great value great product
These trousers are ace! They kept me warmAnd dry up Kilimanjaro... not that I like to mention Kili haha. Perfect but would be too hot on a nice day. Perfect for cold and miserable days! Not 100% waterproof but pretty good and they feel soooooo comfortable!

Nice but maybe too insulated?!
Colour: GreyI have worn these only once so far. Thoughts:Pros:- Generally feel comfortable- Look good- Highly insulatedCons:- Maybe too insulated as my legs sweated!- Items (e.g. phone) in pocket feel a little heavy and uncomfortableConclusion: They really are what they say they are - meant for skiing and extremely cold temperatures, so I will probably save them for a cold, snowy winters day.It wasn’t raining when I wore them so I can’t comment on the water resistance, but I would imagine they would stand-up just like the black ones that I have. Interestingly, the black ones (bought a couple of years ago) don’t make my legs sweat so maybe something has changed production-wise?Overall, probably recommended but not for normal temperatures - just the really cold days!
