Kid's Sandbox with Cover, 46''x46'' Outdoor Wooden Sandpit w/Adjustable Canopy for Backyard Play

First of all, I like that it is made of wood. It’s the perfect size for toddlers and the technology of the lid is very smart - it both gives shade and prevents from rain, animals poop etc when closed. We’ll see the durability with time.It was pretty easy to assemble and there were no missing parts.The only downside is that it doesn’t have any bottom, so we had to buy lining separately and it wasn’t very convenient.

The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent product. It is made of cedar which is one of the most sturdy woods, durable and comes stained and has easy assembly instructions, is like putting a puzzle together.This sand box is big enough to fit all five granddaughters, I bought this one for my 5 and 3 years old granddaughters, cause they love one I gave to their three cousins.I like that it comes with a canopy and protect them from the sun, the canopy also doubles as a cover so sand won’t get wet when raining.The inside of the sand box is 40 inches on all four sides since is square and the canopy goes up to 46.5”. They are very happy playing this summer, highly recommended.

The sandbox was very nice quality, perfect size for my son. It was mostly simple to put together, I only really needed help putting together the cover. The top cloth is great quality as well. It's already rained twice since we put it up and it stayed perfectly dry underneath with the top cover down. My only reasoning for taking off a star is because one of the pieces came broken. Luckily it was in a spot that was easy to work with and the box still be safely functional.

I put the sandbox together myself (without my husband's help) all you need is a power drill. My toddler is taking a nap, but she will be so excited to play in the sand when she wakes up! Also, fyi sand was more expensive than the sandbox. I do love that the sun cover doubles as a cover, so it doesn't end up a giant litterbox for neighborhood cats. Hopefully it holds up through weathering.

This is a great sandbox, and I love the cover. Super light so I can move it wherever. We haven’t gotten to actually putting sand in it yet I just had a baby. My only kind of complaint which isn’t a big deal is that the screws for the handle on the very top for the cover are Super tiny. So they’ve already come up. But that’s fixable with longer screws obviously. But again overall great little sandbox.

Edit: The seller reached out and offered me a full refund which I very much appreciate as I will most likely have to replace this sandbox within the next few months for the safety of my child. So I'll add a star for good after sales management.The middle plank supporting the sail snapped after 3 months, the sail looks worn and disgusting, the screws are rusty and are falling out and we've had this less than a year. The wood is splitting in some areas. Very disappointed. It's a sandbox it should be able to withstand weather outside. Can only recommend this if you put it in a sunroom or something maybe where no sun, rain or anything can get to it. Very disappointed, filed a complaint with Amazon for the snapped plank but was told nothing could be done.

This wooden sandbox is perfect for our son. He loves it and plays in it 2-3 per week. My wife was looking at plastic sandboxes, but I wanted to get something more classic (ie., wooden). And this certainly fits the bill. It's a well-built product, especially for the price. Putting it together wasn't mindless, but it was pretty easy. Took us about 15-20 min. Good size for 1-2 kids. The cover is great. When we're not using it, it's pretty easy to collapse and cover the entire box, which is critical to keep animals out. Great buy!

I’m nervous it won’t last. Putting this together was awful. Almost every piece of wood split. The wood pieces you have to screw into are small, leaving little room for error. The pieces don’t have pre drilled holes so it’s guesswork where to screw into. Quite the disaster. If you’re used to fisherprice and little tikes easy assembly , this will be much different. I’m also not a fan of the liner.
