Overall, I would recommend. I'm pear shaped, 5'6", 155lbs and usually about a size 10 in bottoms and medium in tops. I originally got this in a 10 and it was too big - the 8 fits great (tiny bit loose in the chest as I'm smaller chested, but it'll still work). My full bodysuit shape wear is perfect underneath. Runs long so I will need to wear pretty high heels as I don't have time to get it hemmed. The sequins rub pretty harshly on the underside of my arms so I know it'll be sore by the end of the night, but probably not entirely uncommon with sequin pieces. Overall, nice dress and great for the price.Update - I wore this to a NYC charity gala and got soooooo many compliments. I felt great and it was comfortable except for the sequins rubbing.

My normal size is a 18 or 20. This dress is a 22, so size up a size or 2. I also had to take up both shoulders about an inch and sew the cleavage closed a bit. But that was super easy and took like 15 minutes to do. For a cheap amazon dress, this was pretty good quality I'd say. I also wear a 40i bra size and this fit my girls easily (had to take it up in the shoulders, so there was plenty of extra room for my chest.) I'm 5'5" and the length was perfect with a short maybe 2 inch or less heel.Anyone who says the dress made them look pregnant, probably already looks pregnant. Us big girls can either wear an empire waist dress and look a little pregnant OR a different style and all your lumps show. Pick one. Can't have it all if you're large.

LOVE this gamble of a dress I chose to spend (way) less $ on for more sparkle at a pricier event, I will giggle knowing I spent zeros less but feel great in this dress! Just make sure to size up. Also know that at 5'7" the hem is long if you, like I, wear low heels. But an easy fix. Who cares, I feel great, the dress is comfortable, and bring on the Hollywood party! (Size 8 usually, ordered a 10.)

Went to a local party for NYE that was space prom themed. Ordered this last minute when what I wanted didn’t arrive in time, and this was great! Flattering, comfy, didn’t need to wear a bra. It’s a higher quality than I expected as well! Love the color shift of the sequins. I did take it to the dry cleaner, but you can also just wash in your washer on delicate.

Chest area is 2-1/2 smaller than my actual size. Really nice dress & made well. My size (12-14) took a size 18 with this dress & was still tight is the only reason I didn't give this dress 5 stars.

*edit. I mentioned the dress might be worth it if it were $50. I'm seeing other reviews where people paid $50. That's about what this dress is worth. When I bought it it was close to $80.I'm not sure this is worth the price... It does sparkle, I'll give it that. But it is a "cheap nice dress." I would personally pay $50 maybe $60 but not more. I think anything above that isn't really worth the quality of this dress. But again it is long and does sparkle so that might make it worth it. I'm returning the dress though because it made me look pregnant. I have an hour glass figure and I can usually pull off any dress -even friends and family have said this. Something about the way the material gathered under the bust made me look pregnant. Dresses usually flatter my figure but this one was not flattering at all. Again if it were cheaper maybe I'd put up with it, but it's worth spending a little extra to feel good in a dress like this.Overall, try it. It could work with your figure. It did take good pictures, as in the camera captured the sparkle. But I can't keep a dress I would never wear. The comfort level was fine for a sequin dress.It might be worth getting and having the waist altered ... Although truthfully because of the way the fabric gathers in the front, I don't see it really fixing the problem in the stomach. However if you're a little bigger in the middle I could see how this dress might compliment that.I'm 5' 9" and the length was perfect. Came right to the top of my shoes, without dragging the ground.So it might be worth a try, but I wouldn't buy this dress thinking it's the one. Have a back up dress.

Here's my takeaway, for the price I think you're getting a good deal, but its a good deal only because of the price.Fit: this runs a full size small through the rib cage. The body and arms fit fine, but the chest/ribs/ upper waist were really snug and I could barely zip this closed in that area. I am a midsized apple shaped body and wear a 10/12, size 30 to 31 pants and a M/L in tops and currently 168-ish lbs. I ordered size 12 and I'd need to size up to 14 to be comfortable.The length was great on my 5'7 frame. I wore flats for comfort but could have easily worn 3in heels.Fabric: the sequins are sewn flat in a serpentine pattern, im guessing to give more sparkle without having to have as many sequins. The effect looks good, but not as glam as I was hoping for. It is fully lined, and was not see through at all.Cut and Finish: this is where it fell flat for me. It arrived with quite a few long plastic threads sticking out and caught on itself out of the packaging. The lining sticks out farther than the sequins across the bust, and I couldn't tuck or otherwise secure it in a way to make it hide. I am a size 38D (possibly 36 now) and this somehow made me look small chested even with extra inserts in my bra.I did receive a lot of compliments on the dress, and I decided to keep it, but I probably wouldn't recommend this for anything but a costume party which is what I wore it for.

As you can see, the dress fit nicely. It’s very pretty. I pinned the bust line because it was a little low-cut for me. The only thing that I found really unacceptable is that the sequins chafed under my arms and was uncomfortable all evening.

I'm short 5'2 so I had to have it hemmed and taken up & also in a the waist. Very happy with the dress overall . Zipper is delicate so use carefully but no problem overall. Very glamorous

I’m usually an 8-10, but based on the online measurements I was between a 12 or 14. I opted for the 12 because 2 of the measurements were almost a perfect match with the online sizing. I had to get it altered because it was too big for the girls up top (even with my padded bra). It’s super beautiful and super sparkly though, and I got lots of compliments on the dress! The zipper was a bit hard to get up and almost impossible to get up without the help of someone else. ...Not ideal for a single lady with no one to help. Had the dress been a perfect fit upon arrival, and if the zipper wasn’t so temperamental, I’d give the dress 5/5.

Dress fit perfectly, and I received so many great compliments on the dress. No one believed me when I said that I got it on Amazon. I didn't lose 1 sequin and it fit like a glove (I am a size 12 and the 12 was perfect)
