I bought this for my kid, and the bullets are bouncy, and don't really hurt. The scope is also actually working, and not a prop! This can also work without batteries, and it works just as well, except when you don't have batteries, there is no full auto. My kid really liked this gun, and it is very durable.

Easy assembly and to use. Only complaint was it doesn’t hold has many beads as it claimed.

The gun broke after a few days of usage. It was very brittle. Not recommended!

The blaster has auto and manual modes, and is a top loader. The scope is useless in actual game play, but is actually functional, albeit marginally so with tunnel vision, just for looks and not for aiming. In order to accommodate an actual functional optics, it does sacrifice the hopper capacity and I found that it will not hold a large quantity of gel balls.The blaster in auto mode will spit out balls inconsistently and it is rather hard to simulate semi auto, i.e. shoot a single ball at a time per pull, due to the inconsistency in how the chamber loads with a new gel ball.In use, manual mode is more satisfying to use as it will chamber a gel ball more reliably that way. Also given the limited hopper capacity, it makes more sense to fire it manually.Low power but for close distances < 20-30 ft, this blaster can satisfyingly fun.Constructed with durable ABS plastic.

After much experience with airsoft (mostly) and paintball (some) with my first son, this is our second Gell Blaster gun for my second son (who is just coming into the right age).In some ways this gell blaster stuff is better than both - it's not messy and causes much less hurt or damage. But like everything, it's a trade-off. In this case you're trading away some of the fun for the increased safety and easier cleanup.As for this gun itself, it's good. It's impressive looking (looks and feels very realistic), and pops together quickly. It took us a little finagling to get it to fire right - still not sure if our other gun's gell beads were the problem or not, but it had jammed up. Easily fixed, but required a parent.I can't say the gun quality is super impressive. It's good, though. It really looks right and basically feels as it should. The plastic is a little thinner/lighter than the totally real-like airsoft guns of my older son's days.I like that it has a pump option that works for one shot at a time if the rechargeable battery dies. Otherwise, it's got the same three modes of safety, sniper, and full auto.Fun is maximum. We love using it.

Overpriced when you see what you can get at Bass Pro for just $20 more. The hatch lid broke on ours in one day but didn't remove any stars because it could've been an operator error. The gun is cool to look at and hold. The tiny beads are the size of a baby seed tick and you soak them in water and they expand to the size of a pea before you can use them in the gun. Fairly decent ping but won't knock over a food can. Just too much for grandkids to keep interested in sadly.
