I like that it is rechargeable and doesn't require batteries. Seems like it would be easy to operate. Haven't needed to use it yet, fortunately!

I've looked at hundreds of personal alarms, and this looked by far the best one. Why? Most other personal alarms have some sort of pin you have to pull to set the alarm off. Too much trouble. This is simple. Just press the button twice to make the alarm go off. Other personal alarms had tiny flashlight buttons on the side of the alarm that are hard to locate, find, and press. This one has a giant light button in the perfect location. A lot of other personal alarms don't have very bright lights or they have lights that aren't focused and therefore don't illuminate well. This light is powerful. So I just checked my mail, opened my package, and tested this personal alarm and it is freaking FANTASTIC! The light is very bright and clear and focused. Press it a second time to make some sort of SOS light. I tested the alarm and it is definitely loud. Undoubtedly loud. Anyone would hear it and from a pretty large distances too. And overall, I just like the size, shape, weight, look, and color of this personal alarm. This should be Amazon recommended and be the top seller because it is the very best.Please don't ever stop making and selling these? I want to know that in 10, 20, 30 years from now I can order a replacement one if necessary!

I bought this in August -- past the return date -- wouldn't charge -- wouldn't sound. Just threw it out and ordered another alarm that works & charges. Bought those for my 3 grand daughters. Works great.

We have a real serious coyote problem where I work. Some of the regular dog walkers who come through my place of business I’ve been scared of the coyotes, for good reason. That being said I did some research and found that this particular item with its noise and its strobe light works very well to chase the coyotes away from the people and their dogs.There is nothing really bad I can say about this other than I can be in a panic situation a little bit hard to get the buttons pushed. And then remember how to turn it off. Main goal it does scare of the coyotes.

This alarm is easy to use, came with clear instructions, and is rechargeable with indicators for low charge and charging complete. Couldn't ask for more.

Was surprised at how loud the alarm is on this item. Good purchase.

Tested this item out before giving it as a gift to my elderly mother - it is very loud, charges easily, easy to use, and resembles those miniature car remotes. She doesn't have a mini remote for her new car and used it once to get herself out of a sticky situation so I was relieved to find this device on Amazon. I did not get to test if it is waterproof but it is an otherwise durable personal alarm.
