Key Lime Pie Filling - 2 Lb Ez Squeeze Bag

The filling arrived as advertised. The taste straight out of the plastic bag was excellent. You would enjoy it if you used it as is. My family likes a lot of pucker, and I wanted to add the actual lime zest to give it a home-made flair. I added the zest from two limes the size of large eggs, and 4 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice. These were whisked in until smooth, added to a store-bought 6 ounce graham cracker shell, and baked at 350 for 20 minutes. The edges were firm and the middle jiggly. Cooled for at least half hour, then to the fridge overnight. It was EXCELLENT! Cut just like a from-scratch-pie. Wonderful taste, smooth consistency. Definitely recommend. I will be trying their other flavors as well. (Sorry about the shadow in the photo, but I hope it helps- this amount fills the 6 ounce shell to the brim.)

I wasn't sure how it would taste. I thought it would be more of a gel but it's a cream. Once it came I opened it up and gave it a taste. I was pleasantly surprised and couldn't wait to use it in my birthday cake (yes I make my own BD cake). I made a lemon cake and torted to put the filling oven the layers.I took the cake to work the next day and my co-workers couldn't stop raving about my cake.I highly recommend and will buy again.

Very yummy. Definitely a tart key lime. Would make a great cake filling. I love using it as a dip but too thin to be a pie.

Very tasty. It's a creamy, off white color. I had enough to fill a 3 layer, 10 inch cake with enough left to do another layer. Worked perfectly in a wedding cake.

Easy to use and delicious! I used it to make mini tarts.

It was too sweet but tasty.

Little pricey, but soo much better than the canned filling, and easier than making your own!!!
