Nail This One!
Don't let the Vaughan Dalluge 14 ounce weight fool you. This is a lightweight titanium hammer in name only, it's really a heavy hitter in disguise. Like my Vaughan 19-Ounce California Framer and my Vaughan 99 16-Ounce Professional Rip Hammer, the Dalluge is another well-balanced Vaughan hammer and its hatchet style hickory handle is a perfect fit for me. Hickory is a great shock absorber and makes the 'whaaang' effect on my arm non existent. I like the extra large striker with its milled face and the way the magnetic nail holder grips the nail. Honestly, there's nothing not to like about it.Do I think it's worth the price? Well, let me figure this out. One tube of triple strength analgesic balm runs 20 green ones at our local pharmacy and a doctor's appointment for my neck/shoulder adjustment is 40 smackers - and that's if I'm lucky to need just one visit. So far we're at 60 and I have not figured in time lost in getting the job done. Is it worth the price? My Final Answer: You betcha! ~ The Boss

Awesome!
Awesome hammer! Been using Vaughan 19oz framing hammers for years, but now I finally purchased their titanium framer. This sucker is super bad! Feels just like my 19oz, but its considerably lighter. I love it! Scared to use it for demo on remodels, because I don't want to risk snapping the handle, but that's what my 19oz is for now. This thing drives nails with ease!

A solid hammer.
I’m a framing carpenter and the light weight is easily carried. It has good balance an a solid handle which is important for a wooden handle. I think a wooded hammer is easier on the hands than metal hammer with a rubber grip.

amazing hammer, USA made.
An amazing hammer. The price is the only thing that removes a star. The hammer is easy to swing and hits hard. I will remind anyone who has not used a titanium hammer that they feel much bigger than they weigh. I should have purchased a smaller one.

Piece of s***!!!!
If I could I would give this hammer 0.5 stars. The hammer lasted about a month tops. Never again buying a titanium hammer. Hammer is just for looks does not last!!!! Don't buy!!!!

Great hammer but I returned it since it was just too large for my projects around the house. If you are framing or do heavy construction/carpentry then this is the hammer for you.
