I used these to cover some octagon ceiling boxes that had large drywall holes that a standard plate wouldn't cover. I just drilled a couple of holes for the screws. Worked great!

Needed to add adhesive caulking.Now, painted, looks great.

I didn't like the fact that it didn't stick flush to the ceiling. It left a gap, so I had to use caulking.

We bought these products to cover holes in a porch ceiling where old lights had been. I don't know about adhesion because we were using them outside and we put exterior liquid nails on the hold them. They look good, covered the holes well and haven't discolored. We also used them inside as door knob stops in the basement where the door slams open, and to cover a pipe hole where an old vent was. So far, we really like this product as it has multiple applications and was a very good price for an easy solution.

I got these to cover holes in the ceiling after having to remove hardwired smoke detectors. I couldn't find regular covers that fit right. These were large enough to cover the holes and the adhesive holds up REALLY well.Side note: I replaced the the detectors with battery operated ones. Just in case anyone was concerned 😅

Like everything,like the price,the sticky things on the back,the painting over it idk but the color matched my wall where the doornob was knocking it was completely covered

I got these to cover some holes in the wall I made during a bathroom remodel. I was expecting a cheap plastic cover for the price, but I was surprised to get 5 solid plastic textured covers! The only silly thing is the stickers. When you try to peel off the paper covers, the whole sticker comes off and then you will be unable to stick it. I used a scalpel to remove my paper and preserve the stickers. I suppose you could always use glue, caulk or your own sticky tape. If you can get the paper sealer off of it, it works fine. Still recommend based on price point comparison with big box store.

Exactly what I was looking for. I needed some type of cover plates to fill in large holes in a soffit when I replaced some security cameras. I was able to use these plastic wall protectors to fill in and cover the holes left by the old cameras and install smaller cameras in the same spots.These wall protectors are much larger than the 3.5" ones I found at my local hardware stores. The plastic is rigid and there are four self adhesive strips around the edge of the plastic plates which you can peel and stick to the wall. For my application I added a thin layer of silicone glue to the wall plate so if the adhesive didn't stick the silicone glue would. It worked perfectly!Overall these 7" wall protectors are well and and priced right. You get five (5) in the pack. The only thing I don't know about this wall protectors is if they will yellow or become brittle when exposed to US sunlight or cool temperatures. I've used similar products in the past that have yellowed when exposed to UV and in one case Cracked in the cold weather. I would buy these again.

I was excited when I opened these because they were the perfect fit to go over pot light holes not hooked up. But when I tried to peel back the release liner, it took the adhesive with it (foam split). The release liner is faulty and renders the product useless.Edit: ordered a replacement and still have the same problem!
