The dress is beautiful; however, it's long and I had to hem it even though I'm 5'7. I loved the material.

I absolutely loved this dress but it was not appropriate for the wedding I am attending. I wish it was. So comfortable and the belt made it look so flattering. So sad to return it.

Outfit is beautiful, color, beads and elegant. One size does not fit all or come close, it's huge. There is not a way to alter the size and keep the look.

The fabric was quite cheap indeed. It felt like a flimsy costume/table cover with no quality for a grown woman to wear. The picture shown on the model was of a different quality fabric than what was sent. It's an utter waste of stoned embellishments.The finishing was neat and tidy however.Returning product asap.

Too big, not well made poor quality.

I used this, along with a sparkly African headwrap ( also from Amazon), to dress as “Black Panther’s” Queen Ramonda for a costume event. The caftan was even more sparkly in person, and the hidden belt allows you to define a waistline inside the flowy outfit. I’m only 5’1” and, as I’d expected, the gown was a little too long on me. However, tightening the belt kept the front from dragging the floor and wearing platform shoes minimized the drag of the back. I wore this on an extremely cold day and so wore a black undershirt underneath, which worked fine. The gown would be quite comfortable in summer, though, as it’s very lightweight. The color was a vivid deep blue, just as pictured.

I’m wearing it right now at a friend’s wedding. It’s very comfortable to wear in hot weather.Church has no AC & it’s in the 80’s coming off one of 2022’s severe heat wave. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on this dress. The fit is perfect, the fabric is good quality & you don’t have to worry about looking too fat or too thin…. Just elegant! Turns out a pal of mine says she has the same dress at home in 2 colors. Mine is purple & looks just like the photos . The only negative is that it’s a bit too long. I’m 5’7” & the dress sleeves & hem were sweeping the floor. I had to do some adjustment gymnastics involving safety pins & double sided fabric tape to make it ankle length. I got size XL because a lot of clothing I’ve ordered is made in China where folks are smaller & their version of large is often smaller than the US Large. Also Amazon recommended I get XL. Long story short I LOVE THIS DRESS !

This is an ugly dress, that I am sorry I bought. It is not an African dress. It is a cheap material from China. It fits me like a tent, even though I am 5 feet 6.5 inches & weigh a bit over 180 lbs. I did not want to pay shipping fee to send it back, so I am in the process of altering it, so it is wearable. I do not sew, so if I cannot find someone to fix it, I will just donate it to Goodwill. I cannot wear it as is. The colour style and everything about it looks very different from the picture. This was false advertising I do not think I got what I paid for based on the picture and description.I was able to return this dress with free shipping & was credited.

The fabric was too soft for all the details. It was a rather large one size fits all. Shortening would damage the design.
