Can’t believe I actually LIKE sardines since discovering the Mina Sarfindined in EVOO.
Wanting sardines in my eating routine at this point of my life is mind blowing.🤯 I am telling everyone I know about THESE sardines! 👍👍👍👍👍 I am in my 60’s and have NEVER eaten sardines because my entire life’s experience of them has always been repulsive! Just the thought of sardines would send a wave of nausea to my stomach, due to the very pungent, unpleasant, disgusting, extreme fishy smell. Well, I needed to shake up my metabolism and desperately wanted to give the 72 hour sardines (only) challenge a try. This desperation led me to the discovery of these particular sardines. I purchased a pack of 12, with fingers crossed, I opened the first can, and I didn’t get knocked over from an overwhelming, disgusting fishy smell. Instead, I was surprised and in disbelief that the sardines were mild (understatement), and there were 3 large sardines stuffed inside the can. Long story short…..they made my 72-hour sardine challenge so easy. The sardine challenge really worked, and now I actually crave these sardines even though the 72-hour challenge is over. My absolute favorite way to prepare them is to dump the sardines and all the EVOO into a skillet, add some Himalayan pink salt and a generous amount of Mrs. Dash seasoning, push them and flip them around till they are a little crispy and the seasoning gets crunchy. I slide them out of the skillet onto a plate and make sure to top them off with all the little crispies. They are so delicious and sometimes I squeeze a little mustard over them. I’m amazed! No one could have ever convinced me I would like sardines EVER. These sardines are AWESOME, due to their MILD smell & flavor, their freshness, and the oil is extra virgin olive oil…..instead of other oils in some other brands that are unhealthy and inflammatory. Wanting sardines in my life after all my years is mind blowing. I keep telling all my friends about these fantastic sardines! 👍👍👍👍👍

Moroccan Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Chillies
I really enjoyed these Moroccan sardines. They have such an original taste rich, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell they’re high quality and made with care. The texture is perfect and the flavor feels authentic and natural. They’re great on their own or with some bread or salad. I liked them so much I’ll definitely be getting them again.

Excellent price overall!
First time I have eaten sardines I really like the taste of these and moisture content, and the smell was mild. But because under the skin, it was like brown dried blood. I won’t be buying them again. I really like the fact that they were prepared in a very healthy way, and did not have the head or scales

Very good
My reason for buying bulk packs of sardines online is that I'm trying to add sardines as a dietary staple due to the health benefits. Because of that, the sardines i buy need to meet a few criteria. 1) they must have skin and bones 2) they must be packaged in olive oil 3) they must be affordable 4) they should taste good 5) they should not be extremely high in sodium Initially, i was using Chicken of the Sea sardines in olive oil. Those come in an 18 pack and are slightly cheaper. However i noticed that while these come in a 12 pack, they are much closer in price than i originally thought. These Mina sardines have double the protine content per can than the COS brand. They also have much lower sodium, especially when compared to the protine content. I can reasonably satisfy myself with one can of these, whereas the COS brand needed 2 cans. I think if your looking for a healthy supply of sardines that isn't going to break the bank, this is the best value. I do like the flavor of these sardines, but they are very large fish with a solid texture. The bones have a fair amount of crunch to them. I know some people prefer the smaller delicate style like you get with Brisling sardines. These are not like that. They are much closer to Wild Planet sardines in terms of size. I think the oil tastes better in these Mina sardines than Wild Planet personally. For now, these are going to be my go to brand. I may treat myself to something a bit pricier on occasion for the more gourmet style, but I don't think I'll be able to beat these for value.
