Brought new life to our patio chairs. Easy to use. Working like a charm!

Had two OLD sling chairs for our bistro table. They weren’t safe to sit in as they would easily go back - way back. Got these. Got the template from old ones. They work like a charm.

I have 2 nice aluminum patio rockers that match my patio dining set that my wife wanted to get rid of because the fiberglass springs had lost rigidity over the years. The set is too nice to let go so I set out to find a repair. First look was Amazon when I searched rocker springs....and of course there they were! I used the original "springs" as templates to drill the 4 bolt holes in each spring. I recommend using a clamp to hold the new and old together while drilling and having a vacuum running to suck up the fiberglass residue. Wear a mask and gloves because fiberglass is irritating to skin, eyes, lungs. My old rockers are back in action and soon to get a nice paint job. I recommend

Replaced two pieces that were sorely used. These breathed new life into my porch rockers.

Since the holes are not predrilled, one can put the holes closer together if you want to make it like a stiffer spring. That way the chair does not tip back as far.

I was concerned that they wouldn't be stiff enough or would be hard to drill, but they worked out just fine.The stiffness feels just right, and they were simple enough to drill the new holes in.I just clamped the old plate to the new one to use as a template and my wimpy drill had no issues at all.

No good as a steel replacement. Too much flexibility. Broke after only a few uses.
