Dickies Men's Knit Radar With Cuff

Around the turn of the century I bought a knit hat that stays on my ears no matter what. This past month when the weather turned cold I couldn't find it. I've got more than I can count that don't fit right or don't stay right when I'm wearing my hardhat , playing in the snow, wearing a hood, whatever.I figured this one was unique and at the asking price I'd give it a shot if for no other reason than being double layered it'll block the wind better than the $1dollar store-$20 big name brands ones that are single layer.I've got a head that's 7 1/4 hat size and it's more tall than round and the cap fit nicely on my 1/4" long hair covered head and when I pulled the sides down to cover my ears , they actually stayed covered. I put on my hardhat and after unloading several trucks, my ears stayed covered. Once off the lift and moving heavy objects by hand or cart I began to get too warm for the hat but my head was sweaty so I needed something in the cold so I rolled it back up to uncover my ears then pulled it off and laid it on my head instead of pulling it all the way down and my sweat dried and my head stayed warm until it'd dried enough to go hat less as the work stayed laborious while the temps stayed in the 40s.I like the fit and quality of this hat so much I just ordered another one so if I lose 1 I'm going to still have one (I have ear problems and need to keep them covered most of the time in even the slightest of cold breezes) and I can have one at work while the other is being laundered.The brim adds a unique look but instead of just pulling my sun glasses off the brim of a ball cap to put them on my face as I do in warm weather, I have to actually put them on my ears below this hat , basically take off the hat, put my shades on, put the hat back on. To have a winter hat that keeps my ears warm and stays in place, I'll put up with the minor inconvenience when I put my sunglasses or reader safety glasses on.Edit; The second one arrived. It's smaller than the first one. Not so small it won't work for my needs but it does fit snugly on my head vs the first one. I see it becoming itchy due to snugness but time will tell. I'll just keep it at home and use my first one as a work only one.I'm taking away 1 star due to sizing inconsistency as it might be problematic for others.

Just what I expected. I have one in wool, but since I shave my head I wanted acrylic because it would be more comfortable against my bare skin.And using a seam ripper I was able to remove the tag easily (I don't have a sponsorship deal with Dickies so I see no reason to leave their tag on it).I saw one reviewer whinge that the fit was weird on their head because they didn't have mush hair. My hat size is 7 5/8 and this fits just fine on a shaved head. The thing to remember is that the jeep cap was designed as a cold weather liner for the M1 Steel Helmet. It's designed to be worn under a helmet (unlike a watch cap that should fit your head like a skull cap), so if you want to wear it by itself... there's a way to make it look good. And no, I'm not telling you what it is.

I ordered 2 of these for my husband. He works mostly outside in all kinds of weather. He wants something that will keep his head and ears warm but also something to shade him from the sun when it does make its appearance. He absolutely loves this beanie. It is soft to provide comfort and it is durable. The brim of the hat appears to be sewn together strongly to help it to endure the constant putting on and taking off. It is does not look or feel cheap like others that I have ordered in the past. I really think it is a great product and that it is actually better quality than I expected because the price was not crazy expensive. It is easy to hand wash and lay out to dry. Overall, it is a great product.

This hat seems like it will get the job done if you're mostly concerned about keeping warm, and want to keep snow out of your eyes somewhat. As a fashion statement i'm less sure, the pictures online didnt make it look too bad, but on my dome it is floppy on top like one of those dwarves in snow white. I can pull it way down where it looks better but then it is pretty much covering my entire head and some neck - which again is great for protection from snow but if you, like me, plan to keep it on inside as well as out that might not be favorable. I also feel like the brim is a bit funky, I can't tell if someone stuck the plastic bit inside upside down or if it is meant to go the way it does but it isn't what I was expecting.

So, I give this product 4 stars because of the picture. I thought it was more flat on the top, how the picture looks. But it's a normal beanie with a visor (and a fold at the base of the beanie). It fit me just as expected. I have an average size head. My brother has a much bigger head, and it fit him just fine as well. Anyone who says "too small as usual" is over-exaggerating or they have an unusually large head and should get a custom made beanie.

Like this little cap alot. Fits down over ears to keep warm. That small little bill is just enuff to keep it from looking like a stocking cap looks better with a hoody and of course reminds one of Radar on Mash

I have an average sized head, usually wear a medium stretch fit ball cap. I prefer to have my stocking caps free of extra material at the top of my head. If I pull this hat all the way on it covers my eyes, so just a little too large.Pros: wear the hat in reverse and it helps to keep your neck warm. wear the hat forward with a hood and brim helps keep the hood from falling over the front of your face.

I'm obsessed with winter beanies with a brim. I probably own at least 6 of them. This is my favorite. Unlike most of my other ones, this one actually fits. And covers my ears. Too often these style beanies are too snug so they ride up and expose my ears, which negates the point of the beanie. Anyways, good fit, brim is a good size and it's warm. So warm I can't wear it at the grovert store, which caused me to lose my beanie. Devastated, I ordered a replacement.

La entrega fue antes de lo comunicado, muy buen servicio.La gorra en sí no tiene forma, no queda ni como gorro ni como gorra, la visera es demasiado pequeña hacia enfrente y demasiado larga a lo ancha, esto hace que no quede bien. La línea de tela que se ve en la foto arriba de la visera, no corresponde a lo real, ya que es mucho más pequeña. Simplemente no me gustó nada. Ahora entiendo el precio.

Me gustó, es lo que esperaba, buena calidad.Solo un poco grande pero se puede usar. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.Saludos
