Q: How high/big will it be once grown?

This plant is a slow grower however it can grow as tall as five feet.

Q: What size decorative pot is needed

Larger than half gallon - but you may need something to raise the height to show the entire plant

Q: Is this a portulacaria afra or a crassula ovata? It important that I know

Not sure. I have purchased 2 different crassula plants from plants for pets. They have both plants you ask about. I suggest you go there to get your answers or use Google to see pictures of both.

Q: If i order this in february will it be sent with a heat pack? or should i wait until it warms up? i know the elephant bush is very sensitive to cold.

I can't remember if mine had a heat pack or not, the heat pack is really chimpy. It is more like a hand warmer. I don't think it lasts all that long unless you get expensive good ones. Still with or without the heat pack because they aren't created equal. This Bush is Amazingly Hardy. You get a Big Bush for one, not a dinky pot. You get a plant that you know your soil has been changed so if you want to make up other pots you can. Very hardy healthy plant. I would buy another in a heartbeat. This is a really Good Seller, not sure how old or what. She knows her plants and she is doing it for a Good cause. What better motive to send a Good Hardy Plant. She wants to take care of the animals with her finance from selling plants. I love my plant. I have it in a Fox Trio Planter from Plow and Hearth and looks Awesome. I would definitely recommend this plant and seller.
