Light weight but sturdy enough and holds so much!
When it says "light weight" they mean it but I really like the slots for bobbins and that it holds multiple spools. When there is thread on it, it is solid enough. I am glad I made the purchase.

very light weight
This is very lightweight, but with 3 large spools of thread on it, it didn't move on me. I was thrilled to be hands free when using my large spools of Glow In Dark thread! Up until now, I would hold the tread since it wouldn't fit on my machine, this has saved my from having to sit there holding the thread rather than prepping for the next color I needed on my embroidery machine!

No directions looked at online pictures
No directions with it so I looked at the photos online and it was east enough to figure out can I leave the main pole short or do I need to have it high and use all the pieces that came with it? I haven’t used it so no idea yet.

Works perfect for my needs
I am using for embroidery machine, I chose to glue some washers underneath for extra weight. Works perfectly for my spool size but the metalPosts would be too fat for smaller threads. The pink color is cute. One of the metal posts arrived flattened out quite a bit but I was able to round it out with pliers. I also had one small area that was rough, so I made a couple strokes over it with nail file to smooth out.

Spool holder
Light weight. Odd caps for spool holders. I used it but thought it might be sturdier. Did what I needed to with it. It was a short termPurchase

It does what you need it to do!
The media could not be loaded. What I LOVE about this is that it allows me to walk away from my machine. Before, i had to place my thread on the thread holder my machine came with (Janome 500e memory craft) and it would sometimes pull too much thread causing so many difficulty. It was stresseful everytime I’m on my machine. But now, I’m less stressed :)If you think it’s flimsy like I see in other reviews. Get something and hold it in place. Work with it to make it work. It is only about $10

Ok for what it is
Update: contacted by seller who wanted to refund product because of review below and 3 stars. Said it was not necessary. They then asked if they could send me thread for the trouble. Unnecessary but said sure as they had been insistent. After I agreed they asked me to amend the initial rating. They never sent the thread but asked me later why I had not changed the rating. I told them I thought I should receive the thread first. It never went anywhere else. never got the thread. Had I been sent the thread promptly instead of waiting for me to change the review it might have felt different. I had felt that it was an okay price initially for a cheaply made product but have since purchased a heavy cast iron thread holder that was cheaper, so much for the idea that I saved money. And it feels like all the seller was interested in was buying a better review. If that is all it takes then reviews here cannot be trusted. I want to be able to trust the qualtiy of what i purchase on Amazon...The product is inexpensive, quality to be expected for price. It holds the cones but is very lightweight, so I have noticed it walks when I’m sewing, especially with the embroidery unit. I wasn’t sure how effective it would be so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something and then not find it useful. It is useful even at the quality level being just above fair. I use the cones often because they are more cost effective and without a holder the thread can become very, very messy. It came in a very small package and was simple to assemble. I do not regret the purchase, but when I am ready to replace it I will look for something heavier and higher quality
