The paper is thick, so there is little to no bleed-through even on wetter nibs. However, the paper IS a bit rougher in texture, and I can’t really recommend it for fountain pens. I’ll finish this one, but unlikely to buy another. Wetter nibs recommended just to avoid the texture issue breaking up your writing. Sheening inks kiiiind of show sheen, a tiny bit, but shimmer inks just look dull and lifeless, with zero glitter.

Come da immagine, copertina rigida morbida al tatto, profilo in oro rosa/rame, due segnalibri e pagine con le righe. Ogni volta che lo uso mi sento gasatissima. Unico neo, per il prezzo e la qualità generale del prodotto mi aspettavo una carta più robusta e di qualità più alta.

I bought purple. The color is beautiful. The book is well bound. The gold finish is very nice. My only complaint is that I wish is line were bigger. I wish it was doubled ruled like a composition book. Still, I feel fancy every time I write in it.Yes, if you know a writer or scribbler, this would be a nice gift.

Honestly, I bought it as a gift for my MIL, but I became so enamored with it - the embossing on the cover is so beautiful - I kept it for myself and gave her a different journal. Lol. So, I guess it's five stars from me. 😍
