Dorman 800-093 Fuel Line Retaining Clip - 1 Each - 5/16 In. , 3/8 In. and 1/2 In. Universal Fit

I used these clips on a 1999-2000 model year GMC Suburban with a 5.7l V8. It was the last year of the old GMT4 series body style. The fuel tank was a rear mounted unit. As the tank came out for replacement, it dropped out of the truck and snapped the nipples on the pump assembly. So both fuel lines required some butchery to get the old nozzles out. Thankfully the retainer clips are replaceable pieces. After some effort I got each nipple removed without making a wreck of the inner seals. Just take your time with a needle nosed pliers. The new clips install with the legs up...aka like the legs on a letter V. Use a dab of lube on the new fuel pump nozzle/nipples and the lines snap right back into place. No leaks. I bought a few packages of these. It's probably just a matter of time before I come across another GM vehicle that will need them.

I generally like to think of my self as a handy person but no matter what i did i could not get these to work. I finally got them to slide into the connector (after some squishing and flattening) and they do not lock on. These would not slide on and lock into place like the OEM connectors. I could not find 1 instructional video or write about them. I would not recommend them at all.

I was replacing the fuel lines on my Duramax truck and buggered-up the clips that came with the Dorman set. These were an exact match to the factory clips and worked perfectly once I figured out how to install them properly.

I would recommend with fuel pump sender on fuel pump replacement fit my 99 k2500 and they are a like saver if needed

Received these retaining clips very fast with Prime. The clip I needed fit exactly and was easy to replace. The insertion of the new clip was much easier than removal of the old clip. The old original fuel pump was poorly finished on the fuel lines and did not allow correct insertion of the removal tool. This caused the original clip to be damaged during the removal process.

I used this item on a 2004 Tahoe while installing an engine. The old clip got messed up on removal and they were impossible to find locally. Perfect fit and did the job of holding the fuel line on. Only needed one, but the kit of 3 was cheap and I was sure to get the right one.

Replaced a damaged (my bad) fuel line retainer with one of these. Fit perfectly and no issues.

Easy install and inexpensive

The old sending unit was so rusty i broke the locking inserts for both fuel lines. Ordered these and the two sizes worked great
