Van Dam Street Smart Florence Map – Folded Map, 1 December 2007

My hubby and I went to Rome in 2018 and bought the sister version of this map. It was an absolutely life saver and durable! It lasted through luggage, backpacks, rain, spilled drinks, and food. It also stood up to constant folding and unfolding.So when we booked our trip to Florence, this was the first thing I bought (before the tickets!). We've already used it to get a handle on centralized location of hotels in regards to attractions. We also have a been idea of the city lay out. An absolutely must have. Quality appears to be the exact same.

I am scheduled to spend a week in Florence and I was looking for a map of Florence which would show available transit and/or walking routes to reach the major attractions. This is a general map of Florence. It does not show transit. Frankly, it is very difficult to map out any walking route by using this map. I am on the hunt for a more usable map.

We have tried several other maps while in Florence, but this one had larger letters and so was very readable. Plus it stayed intact while the other maps just withered because we were constantly folding and re-folding. Great product!

This is exactly what I was looking for. This is a durable (laminated) map which highlights all the major attractions. It's easy to read, it's small and it folds easily to fit in my purse! Perfect for travel planning!
