HWK Mesh Motorcycle Jacket Riding Air Motorbike Jacket Biker CE Armored Breathable

It is breathable and not to hot. I totaled my motorcycle on 6/4/18 and the back protector saved my life. The Trauma Team told me had I not had the protection on that I did I would have never walked again if I lived through it. I'm so thankful I was smart before I started riding and bought this Jacket. Since I bruised this one up a little bit I will buy another one when I'm well enough to ride again. All my injuries are below the waist where the jacket was not.

I would give this 4 stars but the price is 50$ so cant complain5'9" 151lbsSize small fits me perfect(I do prefer european fit since im a thinner guy)Here is what i dont like,The elbow pads shift around a bit on me due to only being 2 adjustments snaps on my forearm wish i had a thirdThe zipper on the wrong side is minorThe zelcro cuffs wish they were a bit longer so I can really cinch down the wrists.Now this jacket fits me great the airflow is amazing feels cooler with it on than with a t shirt, and some protection,I thought it would look like "motorcycle man" power ranger type joe rocket etc....It looks like a fairly normal jacket and I dont feel like a clown when I walk into stores or restraunts with it onTried to take some all around photos for you, hopefully you like it.For 50$ cant go wrong...

I have been wearing this jacket daily for a week now. Overall I think it is a good buy. It is reasonably priced, seems to be well constructed, and is reasonably comfortable. There are few cons to this jacket. Not deal breakers, more things to be aware of. First, the zipper is cheap, and is on the wrong side of the jacket for men. It is not a quality zipper so it may or may not hold up long term. Second, the advertised armor IS NOT motorcycle rated CE armor. It is stamped CE but if you hold it next to actual CE motorcycle armor the difference is obvious. That said, I would take it over nothing. I will be upgrading the jacket, as a set of CE armor costs more than this jacket, but for now, it will do. Another complaint, there needs to be more reflective surfaces, preferably piping on the seams. There is a reflective logo on the back, but that is it. I commute to work everyday, and being seen in the morning is important. Sizing runs small. I wear a 2xl, and after reading reviews, I. Ordered a 3xl, and it fits perfectly. I am 5,9 and 250 lbs, and the 3x goes right to my waist with perfect sleeve length, and the armor lines up perfectly. Overall, I think this jacket is a great entry level jacket for a beginner knowing they will upgrade later, however it would not be ideal for a permanent jacket, as the cheap armor would need to be replaced asap, and the cost of the two combined is close to that of a higher quality jacket from the likes of Joe rocket, fox, and others.

Overall, the jacket is a good jacket so let's go into the pros and cons of this jacket:Pro:-Has a lot pockets-The price-The pockets are zippered-Well ventilated-Easy to remove and add padding (the forearm proved most difficult)Cons:-Good luck, its mesh, for abrasion you're gonna have a bad time. If this was Kevlar mesh then we good on abrasion but this is cheap mesh, so if you experience abrasion most likely will tear-The CE foam it comes with is just regular foam, it is not real CE foam. Refer to attached image for more details about CE foam because that is a legitimate image of how a real CE foam label looks like. I have real CE level 1 foam padding on my other jacket so I know.So, you should probably buy some legit foam if you want more legitimate protection, the foam it comes with will reduce impact for sure but not real motorcycle protection foam levelHowever, if you don't plan to go fast, you might be fine. Not sure about it, but hey it's your life and you decided to trust a random guy on the internet.I have a motorcycle jacket already, and I stole the foam off of it to put into this jacket so hey they're the right size at least. I mostly bought this jacket for the price, since I already had the legitimate padding, it was just a simple switch. My jacket is waterproof, but its really hot. I reduced my abrasion resistance for higher heat defense. My cold resist have also gone down. However! If you really were expecting a lot from this jacket, real motorcycle gear is not that cheap. I just knocked down a star because the CE foam it came with was a lie. Overall, you get what you pay for. It provides decent protection at a low cost. If you want more legitimate protection you should actually talk to a motorcycle specialist or go to revzilla a legitimate motorcycle gear seller.

I was really surprised with this jacket, It was a super nice jacket, light weight, longer sleeves than I expected, straps to help some places ie:upper/lower arms fit better. and a bottom sleeve button that has a zipper underneath for the people that like extra room around the wrists.iut has I think 3 pockets inside 2 Velcro and one zip. there is an extra zip part the hangs off the bottom inside of the jacket but I have no clue with that is for, maybe if some wanted to sip it too their pants, im not sure. The padding...I didnt like the shoulder or elbow padding but kept the back padding. should and elbow padding was not flexible enough and made getting back pack on difficult but its okay because you can take it out very easy as it has the pockets in it to remove them. this is NOT for cold weather, I would say degrees over 65 this is perfect because you WILL get very good airflow in the jacket and is not hot at all. over all 10 out of 10 for this jacket. money well spent. looks nice,feels nice. :)
