Akynite G9 LED Bulbs 4W Cool White 6000K, Equivalent to Bi Pin Halogen Bulb G9 33W 40W, 400LM, AC220-240V, G9 LED Capsule Bulb Daylight White, Not Dimmable, No Flicker, 6 Pack

I used these to replace some previous purchases of early G9 LED bulbs, in our main room. The new bulbs are not so tall (so, an easier fit) but give more light (they claim 5W and they're definitely brighter than the original 3.5 watt ones). There is no sign of the occasional flickering that annoyed me with the old bulbs.Time will tell what their longevity is; properly designed and operated LEDs should last a surprisingly long time, in fact they haven't been around long enough to know how long they last. Overheating (and mains spikes) may well damage them, however. Choose a fitting with good ventilation, and don't live in the country :-) .TL, DR - bright, flicker-free, and a good price.

Had to replace 2 light bulbs in a fitting that took 3 , the replacements are brighter than the original bulbs as there was one left working so a direct comparison ( and yes they are exactly the same spec 4W 4000k ) they are a nice white colour not the yellow ones , bought the original ones from an electrical wholesaler and they were £5 each these work out to around £1.35 each , bargain . Can’t speak for how long they will last but the original expensive ones lasted 6 months and 18mths respectively so at 1.35 who cares .

First time we have had a light that uses this type of bulb but gives a good white light and first impressions are good if they last a long time before need to replace them then i would give them 5 stars.

Used 4 of the 6 bulbs straight away and all worked fine. Good cool/natural light worked well in a bathroom

They fit well but the brightness is not comparable with the halogen ones. It is just ok, it does it job but needs more lumens

The media could not be loaded.  Ce lot contient 6 ampoules à LED G9 de marque Akynite. Fabriquées en Chine, l’intensité lumineuse est de 400lm par ampoule pour seulement 4W de consommation. Mon plafonnier a 4 ampoules, soit une consommation totale de 16W.Pour comparaison, mes précédentes ampoules G9 étaient des halogènes Osram qui consommaient 35W chacune (soit 140W les 4). L’économie est donc considérable.La température de couleur est 4000K, ce qui correspond au blanc naturel. Je suis adepte de cette teinte, que je trouve neutre et non agressive. Akynite propose également un blanc chaud à 2700K ainsi qu’un blanc froid à 6000K.Ces ampoules à LED G9 sont plus grosses que mes précédents halogènes, pour autant elles ne dépassent pas du support. Par ailleurs, je trouve qu’elles éclairent aussi bien que les halogènes, tout en chauffant moins.Dernier point, et pas des moindres : le rapport qualité/prix est excellent.Points positifs :+ éclairage puissant+ blanc neutre non agressif+ excellent rapport qualité/prix+ économique+ lot de 6Points négatifs :- Plus gros qu’un halogène G9En conclusion, je suis très satisfait de ce lot d’ampoules à LED G9 Akynite. Elles éclairent bien, sont peu énergivores, et le rapport qualité/prix est excellent.

Sehr gute Verarbeitung und Haltbarkeit, 4 Watt sind sehr hell, ansonsten habe ich von der Firma noch andere LEDs und bin sehr zufrieden
