The Skyzone 4 Pcs Multi-Purpose Artists Paint Brush set might not be the go to paint brushes for repainting the whole house but for the individual particular detailed jobs they offer a great coverage while coming in a good selection of sizes.They’re super affordable and although they are a little too thin for my personal tastes, they do a great job with the quality paints and are a great set of brushes.Each of the paint brushes offer a great level of softness and strong durability, so you’ll get a good few paints out of them as long as you treat them well.

Ideal for purpose and great value for money

As a professional painter, I use a multitude of brushes for my work, but in the last decade or so, I have used flat nylon or taklon brushes such as these for much of my painting; they are ideal if one works in broad strokes and although these are quite wide compared to the more conventional artists brushes, they are still quite capable of deft and accurate brushwork due to the springy nature of the bristles and their retention of shape.I note that others have had problems with shedding; this happens with many budget-price brushes like these and it often just comes down to the luck of the draw – as mass-produced items the bristle packs and ferrules can vary in manufacture quality; I am lucky that the set I received have not had this issue.I paint mainly in acrylics, but these would be fine for other mediums – watercolour, gouache or oils; they are priced at a level worth taking a chance on, but there are plenty of alternative options out there if one has reservations.I`m quite happy to use this set given their test performance.

Do not buy. Learned quickly they shed like crazy. Picking them out of the paint all the time. They went into the garbage.

Image of package look big but in person it's really really a small size. Very thin brush. Super cheap as well
