Good looking finish.
I bought Tung Oil to apply to an outdoor raised planter DIY project. It was my first time using it. I applied the first coat without mixing it with citrus solvent as some suggest. I applied the first coat liberally and then cleaned up the excess after 15 minutes. I then waited 24 hours before applying a second coat. I thought it looked really nice, though the smell is pretty strong. I have no basis for comparison to other tung oil providers, but I'm happy with the results of this one.

Great Wood Protection!
It is easy to apply and is food-safe once completely dried. This will darken the workpiece but give it good surface protection. It is not glossy, more like matte, and will bring out the wood grain very nicely.

A tung oil product from an American company!
Purchased for application on cedar raised garden boxes. I have four 2'x4' boxes to coat, and have done one so far. It is a little thicker than I thought it would be so I am glad that I bought two of the 32oz bottles as I may have run out before coating all four boxes with only 1 bottle. The price seems a little steep until one considers the extra protection the tung oil will give to the cedar over the years ahead.

good quality
I mixed this tung oil with cold-pressed orange oil (coat 1: 50/50; coat 2: 75/25; coat 3: 75/25), and the outcome for treating my beechwood kitchen cart was excellent.

Good product.
Seems like a good product. 32 oz doesn't go very far though. I had quantity 6, 2 x 6 x 8ft boards and only had enough to cover the 6 inch sides. But again, it seems to be a good product.

Simple to apply. Mandatory for arid climates. Wood looks brand new.
I just learned that spending winters in Arizona I must oil my wood furniture. Tung oil is said to be best. This was simple to use with a large microsoft cloth for applying, and then wiping off an hour later then repeating after 12 hours. It's pretty thick. I left a layer that somewhat soaked in after an hour. After both treatments, my furniture looks fabulous.
