This the fifth rug product I have purchased from Safavieh. Politics aside, their rugs are worth every cent. Their products are slightly more expensive than many other manufacturers that suggest their products are as well made. That is not my experience. I recently returned a room size rug from another manufacturer and decided then and there not to bother looking at any other product not produced by Safavieh. Period. I love the new 5 x 7 mixed light colored living room area rug. The pile is so soft and thick my fur babies are loving it. In addition, the backing is sturdy. Bonus: The mixed colors will withstand the fur babies’ traffic. Who could ask for more?!

I absolutely adore this rug. It’s soft, densely woven and very well made. I love it so much I’m considering getting another for my bedroom. I ordered the mushroom color and it’s mostly black and gray. I’ve found with this manufacturer colors and patters are slightly different than their pictures. However, I am still satisfied beyond words.

Just recieved my rug, not only did I get it much earlier than first indicated but its even nicer than it looked. I've bought from this manufacturer before and their rugs are amazing. Wonderful quality, great value for the money and extrermly durable. Dont waste your time buying from anyone else. Most rugs in this price point are flimsy and such low quality you'll be throwing them out in less than 6 month. This will be the 6th rug I've bought and love each one.

I’ve had this rug in my living room for 6 years and it still looks great…came back to purchase again-It still looks like it is in great condition-however potty training a new puppy got the best of it-can’t get the pee smell out. But an absolutely great rug! So soft and holds up fantastic! Highly recommend!

This is my second Safavieh shag rug, I had the Hudson shag rug in ivory and grey for the last 5 years and it held up beautifully. Hides stains and dirt very well. When I went to search for my next shag rug, I wanted more of a off white color that wasn’t bright white. This rug in ivory is more of a yellowy color, so sadly I had to return. If you have this rug next to furniture that is bright white like I do, you can really see how yellow it looks in comparison. I took off one star for the color but the quality of the rug is perfect. Super soft and fluffy on your feet. If you are looking for more of an off white color like I was- try Safavieh Royal Shag rug in cream. Deep, soft, and thick pile. I have to put my vacuum on the highest setting just to get through it! Excellent product.

This is my 2nd rug from this company. I bought the first rug in 2020 - a white one for my living room - planning on it being disposable. I have kids and figured they'd mess up the rug pretty fast. To my surprise that white rug is going on 2 years now and looks like new. This is real carpet, not the fuzzy rugs that are so trendy right now that shed right into the vacuum cleaner from day one. This carpet is heavy, vacuums well, and does not shed at all. I just bought a 2nd larger rug in tan. The tan color has some lighter color woven in so it's not 100% solid tan, but it's also not the tie-dye effect that is trending in cheaper rugs. Depending on your flooring you might need to put down carpet padding underneath to keep the rug from slipping.

I must admit, at fist I didn’t like it. That was solely because I didn’t realize that it had a variation in the coloring. I expected for it to be a solid dusty pink/rose pink coloring. The light pink had to wear on me and it did. I don’t even notice it now. It’s a nice, thick rug. It’s heavy, which I love. It hadn’t shed at all so far and we are three months in. My dogs love it too. I got the 8x10 and it’s sized perfectly.

BEST shag rug!!! After chintzing out on cheaper equivalent from Wayfair, I was left with a smelly, sparse, and sad excuse of a shag rug. Ended up returning the wayfair one and biting the bullet with this one (which was a good 100 dollars more). Worth. Every. Penny. The quality clearly reflects its price. So dense and plush and soo comfy to sit on around a coffee table for game nights. Will never buy another brand of shag rug again.

I appreciated some of the previous reviews adding pictures. This helped me in my decision on what color to choose. I was looking for two area rugs in this size to place on each side of a bed. This room is in the basement is multipurpose as a spare / craft room. The pictures I am adding show the color variation of the white furniture and bedspread along with the floral area rug that is front of a loveseat. The complimentary color of the shag rugs and the larger area rug goes well, and is a soft contrast to the white. I was concerned that the shag rugs might slide on the vinyl plank flooring, but they only move slightly when being vacuumed. I think carpet grips would fix this, but it is not a bother. These have been in place now for a couple of months and I am pleased with the overall quality. The local flooring centre said I would not find area rugs in this size. Guess they were wrong.

Used this in our baby’s nursery. Really impressed with the quality. Our cat marked it when we first unrolled it, but spraying it with some Resolve fabric spray got the stain out immediately, which I was thrilled about. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a cute little rug for a small room (a large room will make this look like a bath mat).

Beautiful rug. True to its colour. However be sure this is what you want because if you need to return it, it is going to be VERY hard to put back in its plastic sleeve! I had such a hard time removing it because I didn't want to cut it down the side, just in case I needed to return. Perhaps this is normal but I have never ordered a rug on line before so don't know.The shag pile is not too high which is what I wanted. I will be keeping as it brings life to my room.

J’ai mis un 4 car il n’est pas cher et est très blanc comme je le voulais. Mais il est mal coupé! Il manque un morceau dans l’angle. Je l’ai bien aligné sur les lattes du parquet pour m’en assurer. C’est dommage. Si je l’avais payé plus cher, j’aurais mis un 3. Je crois aussi qu’un sous tapis est nécessaire car il fait « cheap » comparativement à mes autres tapis. Mais pour ce prix, il ne faut pas trop se plaindre car il a belle allure. Les poils ne sont pas très fournis, mais comme ils sont longs, ça ne se voit pas.
