The leader connectors frayed really bad when installing. I wouldn’t recommend. I used 2 before I got one to actually work.

When I was growing up flourishing was definitely an art. Trying knots was a big deal. You had to make sure that all the connections to the line was secure and there were certain things you had to do to insure that your fly fishing experience was a good one. Now says the fly line comes with loops on the ends so you don’t have to tie a nail knot ( pain in the a** ) or insert one of the old metal loops in which you were lucky if you could get one of those in straight. Now,.. if there is no loop on the end of your fly line you can buy these mesh loops to put on the ends. They are fairly easy to install and I can attest to the fact that they are sturdy with a large fish on the end of the line.. my father was an artist when it came to fly fishing and all of these new things would have made things much easier for him
