I really like this candy. But I have a big problem spending more than $10 on a bag of rock candy when all it is is sugar. I like to have a piece of hard candy in my mouth during the day to keep my mouth moist because I have a big problem with dry mouth. This is very effective. I would buy it all the time if it didn't cost so much. Also, is not always available and that is annoying.

I used these to make "kyber crystals" for a Star Wars wedding cake. These were the perfect size. One bag was enough to cover the 6" round layer (about 4" tall). I used gel food coloring diluted with lemon extract to brush it on the crystals. I thought about buying the blue raspberry candy, but I wanted to match the bride's blue she requested. They taste like plain sugar, no bitterness or aftertaste. I would buy these again.

I loved that these were sugar, I wanted larger crystals as I was doing a geode cake. These were too large for the most part. I had to hunt for the smaller ones.

Just what she needed for her kids project. Nothing says love like sugar on the top of anything!

I use this rock candy to make Rock N Rye which was an elixer my grandmother from Ireland use to make for us as kids to shorten colds, flu, and coughs. The quanity was just enough and the taste was perfect.
