It worked perfectly
I had an oil filter that was stuck beyond all of my tools and hand strength. The bolt/wrench area was completely stripped. I broke my other oil filter removal tool trying to get it off and my other one didn’t fit so I was in a jam. Ordered this and replaced the filter that same night. Once you get the hang of it the tool bites hard into the stuck filter to remove it. I swore this thing was never coming out.

Does the job well, but chain may actually be too long
The wrench certainly does the job and the longer handle gives great leverage. The chain is actually a bit long for my needs, but better too long than too short.

The only wrench that worked.
I had an oil filter to be removed on a Honda 750 Shadow. I tried the normal strap ring wrench, socket cap, and three legged auto adjust but all slipped when turning. Piercing with a screwdriver wasn’t an option because the upper half of the horizontal filter was blocked by the frame and motor casing limiting turning it. I bought this chain wrench, adjusted to to the tightest link and it spun it off without slipping a bit. Too aggressive to install a new filter but perfect for removing, not caring if it crinkles or crushes the filter housing.

was unable to use this tool for any filters. very bad design
bought this to replace my beloved chain filter wrench i lost this one was unusable. i could not get it tight enough for any filter every time i tried to use it i ended up grabbing a pipe wrench to take filter off since i used it for hvac oil tank filter service. returned for a refund.

Water Filter Remover!
I was struggling to find a way to remove the filter cover for my Drinking Water System. This did the trick! The frustration is gone and will be able to replace each time!

works ok if you have a lot of room
hoped I found a good wrench to change my diesel fuel filter but not the case for this item, you need to have a lot of room to use this chain wrench as you can not get the a link close enough to be tight, it was the same on my trans filter and oil filter

Ok but for a different sizes I guess
Unfortunately this not feet on yamaha xsr oil filter. It is too loose or too tight to be placed on filter. Got different one.
