The TN 400BT-SE is an analogue turntable that allows users to listen to LP records wirelessly through Bluetooth headphones and speakers. The die-cast aluminium platter ensures precise rotation speed, while the S-shaped, statically balanced aluminium tonearm provides accurate tracking. The built-in phono EQ amplifier allows the TN-400BT-SE to be connected to a conventional hi-fi amplifier or micro hi-fi system, while a universal headshell type allows the user to easily change cartridges. A built-in Bluetooth transmitter allows the user to listen to LP records wirelessly in high audio quality (thanks to the aptX and AAC codecs). A high-quality Japanese cartridge with movable magnet is pre-installed so that the user can enjoy his records without a lengthy set-up procedure. The phono EQ amplifier uses a HiFi quality NJM8080 operational amplifier chip (developed by JRC) that amplifies the tiny audio signal from the stylus with minimal distortion. New subsonic filter for improved sound By filtering out frequencies below 18 Hz, the TN-400BT-SE prevents excessively high LF signal levels from being sent to the amplifiers, which places a lighter electrical load on the connected speakers. This filter is particularly effective when playing warped vinyl records that would otherwise cause unwanted woofer movement (the subsonic filter is off when Phono EQ is set to THRU). S-shaped, statically balanced tonearm The S-shaped, statically balanced aluminium tonearm is equipped with a counterweight and anti-skating mechanism that allow precise adjustment of balance and tracking pressure, ensuring accurate tracking during playback. A tonearm lifter ensures smooth lowering of the tonearm onto the record. The tonearm can be fitted with universal headshells, allowing the user to change cartridges with relative ease. To reduce signal loss between the tonearm and headshell, gold-plated contact points are used to deliver an unaltered audio signal. Bluetooth wireless audio streaming with aptX codec The TN-400BT-SE's Bluetooth wireless transmission system supports the higher-quality aptX and AAC codecs in addition to the conventional SBC codec. This means that even users who do not have a hi-fi system can enjoy truly high-quality vinyl playback via Bluetooth equipped headphones or speakers. Connecting the TN-400BT-SE to Bluetooth headphones or speakers is as simple as pressing a button.
