Don’t buy blinds on Amazon
This is the result when you leave your pregnant wife with your amazon account. Cheap Chinese plastic garbage. You do not buy blinds from Amazon. Like never. The product is cheaply assembled and the supporting beam or whatever is called is made out of plastic which given the weight of the blinds would have snapped either way. How these blinds got so many 4-5 star reviews is beyond me. Take my pictures as an example for what to expect.

So I read the other reviews, and bought longer screws, the Instructions are not well written.
The instructions, and diagrams were a bit useless. The pictures do not match the parts. However, I managed to figure it out after just eliminating what the parts were supposed to be. It's best to take your time, and not rush, and it must have taken me 30 minutes to figure out what the first part was supposed to be... it's a plastic end plug!So the end plugs have holes in different places to the pictures, and slots which also don't show in the pictures.1/ The first thing you do is pull all of the strings out of the top section including a transparent plastic strip (That is for wrapping the string around on the wall), now they should be dangling down the front of the blinds.2/ Then you screw the two square shaped ends to the wall, or top section. (You could buy longer screws like I did). The gap faces forward for you to slide the blinds into, and the blinds can slide in with a gap at the ends. Long blinds can use the middle support as well, but I would not use these blinds for long widows, they are not strong enough.3/ Slide the blinds in, and then put the tightening screw into the right hand hole. Then slide the plastic covers over the end plugs.4/ Then lower the blinds, but don't pull too hard. You may have to stand on a ladder, and pull at the top, because mine were too stiff to pull from the bottom.5/ Adjusting the length. You first pull off those 3 round caps at the bottom (Don't worry about the blinds all sliding off, they actually are held in place.6/ Then pull the strings out of the holes, and so long as you are shortening the blinds you can cut the knots off to save you ages trying to untie them.7/ The bottom of the blinds can then slide out sideways to get the length that you want. Just keep sliding them out sideways.8/ You are left with a sort of ladder of string dangling down. You need to cut the ladders leaving almost 3 rungs dangling down still (two and 3/4). This length is quite important so be careful.9/ Slide the bottom section back in again below the final blind, and push the thick string through the holes. Pull the thick string down until it is tight. The string must be tight when you tie the double knot in it. The double knot should be in the right place to support the bottom section (Not too high, not too low). Make sure that the bottom section is not tilted at the wrong angle, get all of the knots in a straight line, and all supporting the bottom of the blinds. Now you can cut some of the thick string off at the bottom, but leave some to tuck into the holes.10/ Now you have 1 and 3/4 ladder dangling down. the final 3/4 tuck into the holes, and you push the plugs into the holes, and they grip the string. The 3/4 extra length is all that should push up into the hole, else the string will be too tight. Keep doing that until the string is not too tight.11/ Then you can screw the transparent plastic part to the wall as a spindle to wrap the extra pull string around.12/ Hook the plastic twist handle to the hook at the top of the blinds. Then I suggest that you just use the twist handle to control the light, and not pull on the blinds at all to raise them up. They are not very strong, but should last forever if you only use the twist handle.

Blinds that are easy to fit even with my limited D.I.Y
This product easily replaced my old blind, used the original fittings and because was exactly the same size slotted right in. This is a great priced blind and gives my window good coverage, blocking out outside light. I got exactly what I paid for, a bit flimsy but reflects the price I paid. I am very happy with this product and would buy it again if needed. Blind is black so gets quite dusty quickly but a damp cloth and regular dusting sorts that. Came packaged quite well and quickly. I had no problems with ordering or delivery. Product is worth the money. If I had not had fittings this product would still have been easily fitted but I would have used longer screws of better quality but that is my personal preference. This product came with everything I needed to fix blinds to my window. These blinds require holes to be drilled have blinds like these that into wood and not solid walls have been able to just use pressure on a screw driver to screw in brackets. My back door is wooden and needed a blind and this was not drilled to fit.

Great quality and super easy to install
ordered these as temporary blinds till I can save up for something more decent, they arrived on time and well packaged, the price was really good so I wasnt expecting a good quality but not expecting to have for very long.opened the package and the blinds are thin but look really good, braced myself for the dreaded installation Ive never been great at installing blinds alot have been thrown to the fall and binned, these went up like a dream they were super easy to trim and could be done with a pair of scissors if needed. once up they were secure and I couldnt believe how amazing they looked. Im not even looking to replace these now with something more expensive. Infact I am purchasing more at the end of the month to do the back of my house. From the exterior of my home they look really great looks good quality they open close great hold back light when needed.Id recommend these blinds to anyone the price is amazing, the quality is so much better than expected, those with zero DIY skills can put these up

A good way to significantly reduce light when needed and have privacy
These are really good value for the money and offer significantly reduced light levels. They look fine, if not like the posh real wood or metal ones. I have the black ones to try and keep more light out and they work quite well, at night cars pass every now and then and the blinds stop this being noticeable. If fitted close to the window within the windowsill they would shut more more light. As my windows open inwards I had to mount them further in on the wall, hence light can enter within the windowsill. Even so, on a bright morning with the sun coming in the summer, it no longer wakens me. As one window is next to my bed I can lean over and open the blinds easily when I want to. Also, in the extreme heat of the summer, I can leave the window open and either open the blinds or raise them to allow more air in than with curtains - remembering to keep the light off for privacy.I’ve purchased these before and sometimes there are just a few tiny holes in the blinds, maybe 3 or 4 across all blinds. I actually don’t mind these as they look like stars when it’s light outside, as mentioned they are tiny the size of a small pin. The last blind purchased didn’t have any of these miner faults so maybe this was a temporary issue. You can always check on arrival, with someone to help it’s easy to let them down and inspect before mounting.
