Genuinely Lovely Purchase
I'm not sure if I got a defective one, but I assembled it on my wall, which was easy enough to do, and it worked nicely. After about two weeks, it started to rattle and shake when it was turned on, on both settings, and it so ridiculously loud that I can no longer keep it on during the night, or genuinely at all anymore. Very disappointed with the longevity of this item, but the first two weeks were good. *Also, this is NOT an AC unit, for those looking for one!**EDIT*The company reached out and offered to send me a new one as they suspect my item was damaged in shipping, and they were absolutely right. My device is now fully functional, and so much more quiet than my first experience with it! I’ve been having a lovely experience with it so far, and I e been using it every night!

Relatively easy to install; really seems to be a good product.
Used as an air curtain to prevent flies and other insects, primarily flies. Seems to be working well.

Cannot convert to switch control
It could not convert into a switch mode. Who Carrie’s a remote control all day long. Tried to convert but couldn’t. Made in China. All wires different colors. Wasted my money. Will have to throw away

The Good , Bad and Ugly
The fan arrived very well packaged with no damage. The mounting plate is heavy duty and easy to install. The fan slips into the bracket easily and can be done with one person although two is helpful.The ugly part is trying to install two tiny locking screws once the fan is in the bracket. These machine screws prevent the fan from swinging off the wall.I literall mounted the bracket and fan in about 15 minutes but spent over two hours trying to install the screws way up inside behind the fan. I finally gave up and used sheet metal self tapping screws instead.Once powered on the fan works great and the magnetic contact for the door is great.I wish however the fan could be controlled by turning the power off and on - like from a light switch. This doesn't work however because if the power goes off and back you must press the control button to turn the fan on again.

No more fly's in the house
The directional flow, downward fan blowing down has eliminated our problem for many flies entering the house anytime we went outdoor to our patio, pool or sun deck. Flies would come inside the house. Now with this fan product we have eliminate ALL flies from entering our home.
