Descendants 2 Junior Novel (Descendants Junior Novel) Hardcover – June 20, 2017

These books are really good to promote reading. My daughter enjoyed them and it challenged her along the way.

My daughter is in third grade. It is very easy for her to read. She just loves the series.

I loved it.It was classic Disney, with a touch of edge.We get everything we all wanted in the first one.There's more Lonnie. We all loved her before because of how kind she was; but, now, we get to see leave the stands and join the fighting.Jay almost made me cry. He sacrificed a LOT to be both kind and respectable.Carlos continues to be sweet and loving, but he is gradually becoming bolder. He takes chances, stands up for himself, and he even stands up to Mal-insisting that she share her burden with the group.We see more of Mal & Ben. The "maybe I can teach you" moment comes back in a big way. Also, Mal learns that redemption isn't earned and that it doesn't mean perfection.Evie continues to be a wonderful friend, encouraging and inspiring many.All in all, it fits nicely with first story. We get to see our favorite characters grow into themselves a bit more.(Oh! And we finally get the kiss that we've been expecting since the first movie.)

Usually Junior Novelizations have something that hasn't been seen in the movie. I'd like to have read how Uma claimed Mal's spellbook, made her way to Auradon and casted her love spell on Ben.

One thing I love about this book is it has pics on the end. One thing I dislike is it’s not really a Junior Novel, It’s more of a Descendants 2 recap. I recommend this book to ages 5+. I chose a 5 star rating because this book didn’t leave out a single a detail, It’s like I was actually watching the movie

Amazing book, I loved reading it to my kids, can't wait for the movie!!Descendants 1 was good and set us up for this sequel, which may be better than the first!! I bought 10 books to give out as gifts to my friends kids - great summer read. I also got it in the audiobook, which we can listen to as a family as we travel this summer. Nice uplifting story line, well written!!

Again bought for granddaughter and she loves them.

Loving the fairy tale mixes, it's fun. Uma's jealous, Mal ruled the roost but with her gone from the isle, well Who s the boss now? Really enjoying the whole series, keen to read more

My huge Descendants fans loves this book. The comic horoscope are actual photos of the actors in the movie (now drawings).
