The necklace has good weight to it. Good quality. I got it as a gift for a friend. Can't say if it has tarnished or not but supposedly there's "Stainless Steel 18k Gold Plated, Hypoallergenic and Durable Wear" to minimize or prevent this color change and to prevent skin reactions. I might get one for my sis and I.

Ordered about 5 of these in different names for my daughter, nieces & myself, they came in within a few days. Really cute & really good size. The only problem is the name is not centered on the necklace so you need to keep adjusting it in order for it to be straight. I jst ordered a separate necklace to replace & should b good to go.
