Good solid product

This was bought to replace a spring stop (doesn't hold door, but stops it hitting wall) which was installed by the previous owner. Installation is very easy, the end result is a nice looking sturdy door stop / catch.The previous spring stop didn't hold the door, so it was free to move and the wife and I have both caught our arms on the handle. No more with this new magnetic catch.The new stop hold the door, so it doesn't move and it hold the door closer to the wall which is brilliant. I have now ordered 2 more.

We were having problems with one of our downstair doors which would get caught by the through draught when the front and back doors were both open, causing the the door to slam shut with considerable force, dangerous when you have pets in the house and it can also damage the door too. Thr magnetic door stop has now alleviated the problem. It was easy to install and has just the right strength of magnetism.

This is an amazingly good product. The finish is clean and smart. Can’t see screws on either part and it is made of sturdy robust material. The smaller part has a spring in the mechanism to stop harsh slams and dampens the noise. Best thing is it stops the door from lingering half open for people to walk into. Would definitely buy one again.

Whilst I have not fitted yet, this seems to be a very sturdy bit of kit. The actual item seems to be made well and the magnet is STRONG. All fittings seem better than some similar door stops.
