Great Value - Great Product
I have never done an eyelash lift before - I've never done it myself and I've never had it done for me. I was a little worried about how this would work. After watching several youtube instructionals, I decided to give it a go. My lashes grow sort of wonky, some curled and others not, plus I tend to sleep on my face so one eye is all sorts of messed up! I was desperate, but not willing to pay to have it done by someone who knows what they are doing. Apparently I feel good about weighing the cost of having someone do it against the cost of doing it myself and possibly causing blindness. With this kit, I also ordered a separate set of pink silicon curlers, but when I received my kit I saw that it came with the silicon curlers as well. So I wanted to give them a shot too. The curlers in the kit had sizes printed on them (small, medium, large) while the ones I bought separately did not explain the sizes. You have to sort of eyeball it. Since I'm totally new, I didnt want to have to put in any guesswork. The curlers that came with the kit worked great. I didn't try the stiffer ones that look like little white paper sticks, though. So I can't comment on those.... other than they just look flat out uncomfortable.I was pleased with how much product comes with the kit. I feel like I hardly used any when doing my eyes the one time, and can easily do them every two months for the next two years, assuming the product has a decent shelf life. I didn't think to check that out....so I guess we'll see.The glue works SUPER well. I appreciated that, once I was able to get all my lashes where I wanted them. You have to be quick (but careful) because it is really easy for the lashes to end up in weird positions if you dont straighten them out before the glue dries. But again, I have wonky lashes... so it was no surprise that this was a bit of a struggle for me. Unfortunately, I made the poor choice of trying to correct the lash position after the glue had dried by using a metal lash comb... I ended up immediately stabbing the super freaking tender waterline - so that was fun.**One thing about the glue bottle though... like any good product that comes in a tube, it has a little stopper to scrape off the excess glue as you pull the wand from the bottle. While it's nice that does that, this little thing really makes it difficult to accomplish this on your own, since one of your hands will be too busy pressing the lashes to your eye. I ended up removing the stopper and setting it aside until I was done. **The rest of the product comes in tiny glass bottles, that each have little plugs in them to prevent leaks since the package lays on it's side. I thought that was convenient, as I would be bummed if any of the product spilled while sitting there waiting to be used again.I was terrified that I would get the product in my eyes, but I managed not. It was definitely a little time consuming to do, too. But I ended up really enjoying doing it myself and I love the results. Next time I used the medium curlers, but I think next time I will use the large.I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone looking to get a lot of product for the cost. I would also remind anyone who gets it to please not double dip their q-tips when putting on the product. There is so much bacteria hanging out on your lashes, you dont want to put that in the bottle. Each time you need to dip for more product, use a new swab!Love the kit. Love the results. I normal lashes now and that means I can wear mascara again without looking like some kind of monster.

This product truly delivers!
This stuff is amazing! It definitely does what it says it will do. I watched a few YouTube videos as guidance and I suggest you do. It makes it easier to understand what to do. I used the small size silicon pad for very curly result and it delivered. I believed I used to much glue and the cleansing water it comes with wasn’t enough to remove the glue so I used coconut oil and a cotton pad to wipe it off. Then I had to pull it off my eyelashes throughout the day. Don’t do this If you have somewhere to be Because the glue is kind of bothersome. I thought I got all the glue, then within the hour more glue appeared to have dried up on my lashes. My eyelids swelled up a little, only noticeable to me. I’m very sensitive to anything around my eyes, I can’t wear fake lashes my eyes get watery and it’s just annoying, so for this process I tried to relax and it worked better if I just shut my eyes until the timer went off. My eyelashes on one eye are longer than the other, so those turned out way curlier. The draw back is that when I apply mascara my lashes go back into My eyelid and it’s very challenging to to apply mascara and clean it off. Next time I’ll do medium. But if you’re not going to wear mascara then Small is the way to go! I haven’t noticed any of my lashes falling or any negative side affects. I’m so happy with this product. Hope the pictures I shared are helpful to you.

Not worth it. I have suffered permanent vision damage.
Here is what happened to me after using this kit.TL;DR - I got solution #1 (ammonia) in my left eye. I had a hemorrhage and went temporarily blind in that eye. After treatment (which included an elongated needle injecting steroids into the back of my eye socket- attached images are of me after the injection to correct the inflammation caused by the solution from this kit) I can see again, but I have a large, permanent blind spot in my vision. In sum: do not buy this. Do not get a perm. Go to a professional and get eyelash extensions. The money saved by doing it yourself is NOT worth the risk of damaging your vision like I did- I have to deal with the enlarged blind spot in my eye for the rest of my life._______________I felt pretty and my lashes looked great. But I still regret it.I remember researching lash perms and seeing horror stories, but none like mine. I never thought it could happen to me. But here I am, trying to warn people who won’t listen just like I didn’t.I successfully permed my lashes 1 time. It took me a few tries to get going, and on one of my tries, I got some of the first solution (which is almost certainly ammonia - the package doesn’t say what it is) into my left eye. I rinsed my eye profusely afterward but it still felt slightly dry for a day or two in the spot where the solution touched.Fast forward a couple months and I have been dealing with slight blurryness in my left eye. It’s so slight at first I don’t notice it but over time it gets to the point where I can tell it’s blurry, but it’s so mild I think nothing of it and decide to just wait until my next eye appointment.Fast forward another month of consistent blurryness, and something happens. I see black in my vision. It is a string that grows in tendrils and pools at the bottom of my vision. I think it’s blood. I’m having a hemorrhage inside my eyeball. When blood fills your eyeball, it just looks black and obstructs your vision. After calling my nurse mother, she tells me to go to the ER.The ER can’t directly help me so they call in an eye doctor. He then sends me to a retina specialist. Turns out I have optic neuritis, meaning that my optic disc, or the spot where my optic nerve attaches to my eye, is inflamed. Judging by the blurryness, the specialist says it has been inflamed for some time.He says that optic neuritis is a symptom of MS, but also can just be a freak thing that happens for no apparent reason. He decides it’s a freak thing, but I’m convinced it’s because I got ammonia in my eye months earlier. Why did it *just so happen* to occur in the same eye that got a powerful chemical in it? He said there isn’t research on optic neuritis and chemical damage so he couldn’t say for sure.Anyway to get the inflammation to go down, he first put me on oral steroids for a couple months. That made me break out with acne worse than when I was a teenager. I dealt with it though I value my vision more than I do clear skin. Once he confirmed that the inflammation could be calmed with the drugs, I stopped taking them. Instead of oral steroids, he injected a steroid into the back of my eye socket with the longest needle ever. I did not want to see it so I just followed instructions and looked down to the right. It hurt. Even with repeated numbing drops I could still feel this deep pinch. My eye was puffed up and irritated for days afterward but hey, the internal inflammation DID go down. The attached images are of me after I had my eye injection. There were some surface hemorrhages from the pressure applied by the length of the needle but they healed up just fine. What sucked was that I felt like I had a gigantic hunk of dust stuck in my eye that I couldn’t get out for a day afterward. I used lidocaine on the surface of my eyelid at night so I could sleep.Sorry if you assumed the redness is from the solution. The images I posted are a warning of what could happen to you if you need treatment, and in my opinion they serve their purpose just as well as images of the immediate aftermath of getting the solution in my eye.So. It has now been a year since I had the hemorrhage. When I had blood in my eye, I was half blind and couldn’t drive. After a couple months I could see through the leftover blood in my vitreous humor, but even now, I still see little blurs and floaty chunks in my vision. They will eventually go completely away, hopefully. My left eye still dries out faster than my right and is frequently watery, causing the left side of my nose to be runny a lot.I also have a big blind spot on the left side of my vision in my left eye, in the same location where we all have (what should be) a tiny blind spot due to the optic nerve. As for how big it is? It’s not enormous but it’s big enough for me to notice and for it to be inconvenient. Example: there is a fire alarm on the ceiling of my bedroom. If I look off to the right of it at a certain location, the fire alarm completely disappears. I cannot see it. My brain makes me see just more blurred white ceiling in my periphery. I also notice the blind spot during movies and at other random moments.I’ve gotten used to it for the most part but I kick myself for ruining my vision at such a young age just so I could have curly lashes. This kit permanently damaged my vision and the treatment I went through to stop the inflammation sucked. It’s not worth it.
