Jurassic World Ultimate Collection [Jurassic Park/Jurassic World 6-Film Box Set - Limited Edition Figurine] [4K Ultra HD] [2022]

Bargain price for a new item. Good for the collector.

Originally i was expecting to make this review in January of next year. But having the product arrive 3 months early was definitely a great surprise. Its also surprising to see that people reactions have been mixed to negative when it comes to this set. First off this is easily one of the biggest Blu ray box sets i have ever received! The presentation is great and the marbel rock art style gives a certain elegance to the set. Admittedly the american Digibook version of the actual 4k set is a bit nicer but personally ive always found the traditional plastic cases to be much more durable and better quality than the regular cardboard sleeves from Digibooks. And went it comes to the statue its simply a lot better than people are describing it! Counting both the shipping boxes and the product display boxes, it took 5 layers of unboxing before i got to the main statue so just with that i can say that the item was very well protected. And when it comes the quality as someone who has owned every version of Jurassic Park Blu ray Statue sets i can safely say that this is the best one! The weight, the presentation and the paintjob are much better than the online pictures that have thrown people off. Finally the fact that your getting a $70 4k set and a great collectible statue leads me to confirm that this set is not overpriced. And i would actually recommend getting this instead of spending $600+ on a higher end sideshow piece.

I bought this because I thought it would be in booklet form but it's just exactly like the 75 euro set yeah the statue is cool but I bought it for the booklet so just be aware

As a huge Jurassic Park fan since the moment I saw the original in the cinema as a kid in the early 90s, I just had to have this collectors edition, so I preordered this the moment I saw it, even with the shockingly high price tag.Firstly, the product arrived from Amazon with no packaging and the postage labels stuck all over the cardboard sleeve, and there were massive dents all over it, outraged I contacted Amazon and I had to pay for another copy to get a replacement as Amazon wouldn’t allow a replacement without return first. Thankfully the second copy arrived well packaged and also in a factory box that the first arrival didn’t.Anyway, I watched a YouTube unboxing video to see how this should arrive, and noticed the US edition is far superior to the UK edition, first, it comes sealed, where as the UK edition just comes with a few round stickers to keep the box closed, and the worst offender is the beautiful booklet sleeve the movie discs comes in, the US edition booklet has 2 pages for each movie from the franchise with the original theatrical artwork and photos from the movie, with the discs housed inside, the UK edition just comes in 2 blu ray cases housing 6 discs per case, inside a cardboard slip case, so essentially the same edition as the £60 Jurassic World Collection.I’m very disappointed by this as the cardboard booklet looks amazing and would make a great nostalgic collectors item.For me, the model Velociraptor statue looks good, so I must have been lucky to get a decent one, nice to have, but overall I feel ripped off getting an inferior edition compared to the superior US edition.

The box was bashed around quite a bit, the box set from what I saw was individually sleeved in a book where as mine came in multi standard dvd case and the model itself is poorly made and moulded almost thought is this a ripOff version? All in all very disappointed in this set I just hope the films play in 4k when I get home but I’m thinking they won’t. If you want this for the model please dont you’ll be disappointed. I’m amazed how poor it is!

The box is well made, however a major drawback I found compared to the US version of this collection is that there is no custom booklet with sleeves for each movie, you simply get the 6 movie collection which has 2 plastic cases (1 For 4K and 1 For Blu-ray). This is a major disappointment as it is not at all unique to this set and is simply the £60 collection of films placed into the box.The statue itself is alright, looks reasonable and is well painted and made with minor mistakes, the only issue I had with it was that where the arms and legs connect to the body you can see the small gap making it obvious they were simply plugged in together. These gaps could have been filled or painted over to make it look more like a singular build and not multiple locked into one another.Overall, I would not recommend the set for the price, if it had the desired booklet with sleeves for the films potentially but without its just the statue and authentication card that are the unique things for this collection. Once again the UK has been shafted. It is up to you to debate if the authentication card and statue is worth £110.

I own quite a few Collectors Editions/Ultimate Edition box sets of other franchises and I must say this is the biggest rip-off. £170 for the DVD box (that is £60 on its own) and a figurine with extra cardboard. There is absolutely nothing special to this set that warrants the price. I returned it as soon as it arrived and ordered the £60 4K set on its own. ... disappointing as I was looking forward to a cool collectors edition of one of the greatest franchises in film history
