I've had this knife for about 2 years and I love it. I use it for all my cooking and take care of it religiously and can say if you do care for it, it'll last a while. Minimal sharpening required from my experience. Hoping to keep this around for many years.

I just gave away my old set of expensive kitchen knives. I'm an avid cook and for the past 2 years, this knife has served me daily for all kitchen tasks. It sharpens to an excellent edge and has a comfortable weight, grip, and balance.I find that it keeps its edge well, but then I sharpen my knifes frequently and wouldn't dream of running them through the dishwasher.

I have never owned nice knives before. Thought I would try my hand at a nicer knife in the lower price range to prove to myself I could take care of one before investing in one that costs $$$$. I love this thing!! Which is saying a lot because it is SO SHARP I a managed to cut through a portion of my fingernail along with most of the tip of my finger! But on the plus side, it was SO SHARP I didn’t even feel any pain when it happened, though the four stitches to hurt now. X-DBut really, I have used this knife on onions, carrots, green onions, bell peppers, hot dogs, pork, and chicken thighs among other things, and it is a great all-purpose knife that makes a huge difference! (Though I probably wouldn’t use it on bones.)

Thin blade and kinda dulled quicker than I'd like but it was an okay knife. And I'd say worth the price
